BBAU 2025 house in Dreamworld Exhibition Centre

The media will get a house walkthrough on Thursday 06th. 10/Paramount are holding upfronts at Dreamworld this year, BB seems to be front and centre. Interesting to think that Gretel will probably be on site (as new host of The Traitors).

They usually do an overnight test run at some point (to test the house, feeds, cameras, etc). Fri-Sat?
A good point with the upfronts - wonder if they will use the BB set/stage for this - I can only assume they would.

Unless we are all being blind sided and this stage is entirely for the upfronts and the set is somewhere else entirely (I’m aware I’m reading way too much into this haha)

I wonder what the audience capacity will be? I can't imagine anywhere near the original amphitheatre... tickets HAVE to go on sale tomorrow... we've been so patient 😭 Even BB said last weekend they'd put a post up this week... which is now over... I know they have everything under control, 2 weeks out should surely be the maximum though.

Not ideal weather for Coomera that weekend... might be like the 03 launch.

Plus about 8 sporadic days worth of showers leading up to it.

You would hope they'd have some sort of main stage set up undercover, especially after last year's storm season.

I wonder how much rain hitting a big metal roof would affect audio in the house?

This house/staging area plan is interesting. Wouldn’t that leave a “void” between the two areas? Where might the boundary be for park guests? How do guests get into the stage area? I wonder if the portables north of the exhibition centre are the production facilities. My initial thought was the apparent stage area would be a production campus of sorts.

All will be revealed I suppose but it least it doesn’t look as condensed as how the UK have their current setup.

And I know by now it’s a moot subject but if camera runs were going to be a thing we’d be seeing them around the perimeter of the “yard” area.

It all looks good, all things concidered. Shame it's such a short season, but maybe next year it'll go longer who knows.

Any updates on launch tickets? I'm going to be close to Dreamworld that weekend 👀

I have been checking every half hour, it's like COME ON! I keep seeing new stories from DW and I'm like WOAH! And it's just Halloween bullshit.

I'm worried I'll miss out because I doubt there'll be a large number of tickets available, as there's not even an indication as to where the Launch will be held in the park, or if it will be filmed live on the Sunday or the day before. I need to know so I can organise it around work 😂

I messaged DW a fortnight ago and they said, "No news on this just yet. Stay tuned on Big Brother's socials though."

I can imagine with tickets being fairly limited they aren’t going to want a bunch of people commenting to them and then having to back out for whatever reason. They also likely don’t have the luxury of overflow seating where they could pull people to fill gaps. While it’s not ideal for everyone I can definitely see why they’d want to keep the floodgates closed as long as they can. Not to mention the set might not even be finished and they’d likely still need approval on final numbers in relation to fire code/emergency response etc. Once again it’s the joys of this being the first season and dealing with a live production.

Judging by that post, not a camera run in sight (bar a couple of glass panes) I'm not familiar with overseas versions, but wouldn't having cameras more visible, take away from the whole point of the show? Or will the housemates genuinely forget about them?

Do we think it’s to do with budget? Paying camera operators to man cameras in the runs would be pretty expensive.

I’m a bit worried for how it’ll look if it’s all shot with fixed remotely controlled cameras.
