Agree. I think this is purely being converted into a studio.I feel like @James T is on the money with the house going on the vacant land directly behind it.
We know a structure of sorts is being build on the vacant land, so it would make sense IMO. We just need someone to fly a drone haha

I’m thinking the yellow highlighted buildings are going to be production offices/control room/possibly a smaller set. None of them are accessible by the public and sit disused and fenced off.Who knows what to believe but seems this location is not going to used as the house. I’d say production / the live show set
Could even see them doing some kind of Big Brother attraction in the yellow area as well, like getting a photo in the diary room chair etc.

Wow. So the original theory was correct then. They're not going to place a part of the BB facility on the south end of the park and put a house on the north end like in the 00s.
This is most definitely production facilities. Probably even the live stage and control room (they shared a building on the original run). Even on versions such as BBUK (ITV retrofitting a soundstage) and BBUS (always been in a soundstage at CBS Radford) they've had an exterior extension for the garden. My money is on the vacant plot to the east of WWW. No doubt already under construction to some degree. Now we've been shown this I would expect to see more timely updates.
I do find it interesting the rollercoaster maintenance is being extended through December. Are they just going to shut it down annually when the show is on? Could this suggest a more prominent change to shorter runs? I do not see Dreamworld shutting down one of their [expensive] rides for three months out of the year.

Incorrect. The original (2000 - 2004) house was NOT built on a soundstage. It was a couple of double wide trailers in a parking lot. Said parking lot was later the site of a new office building and BB was moved to the studio that housed Yes, Dear.BBUS (always been in a soundstage at CBS Radford)

I miss being able to see what time of day it is in the studio. And I miss the tacky water feature.Incorrect. The original (2000 - 2004) house was NOT built on a soundstage. I wouldn't rule it out that they'll always shut down the Gold Coaster when Big Brother is on air and I don't think it suggests shorter runs anyways. The coaster is 30 years old now and is on maintenance for a couple of months almost every year anyways. Mind you, this year it was already scheduled for 2 months of maintenance anyways. In 2023, it was down for 2.5 months from Mid-September to the end of November. Similar for 2022, when it was even closer to three months (April till almost the end of June).
So shutting down the Gold Coaster for three months every year wouldn't seem too odd for Dreamworld.

I stand corrected. Thank you.Incorrect. The original (2000 - 2004) house was NOT built on a soundstage. It was a couple of double wide trailers in a parking lot. Said parking lot was later the site of a new office building and BB was moved to the studio that housed Yes, Dear.

The logo is definitely superimposed, you can see it move a couple frames of its anchor point, (if that's the right terminology? Also looking at satellite imagery I’m convinced they superimposed the BB eye onto the existing solar panels of that structure. Probably just a nod to that being the general area the show will be filmed.

Not to mention the floor would need to be raised to allow for plumbing and such. There’s not even a space around the facility to extend a garden or outdoor space into.I guess being a shorter series, the lack of vitamin D won't be too much of an issue. But surely some sort of natural sun light would be needed? Are we sure this isn't just the eviction stage being built? I know they said "house" but we know how secretive they can be.
