BBAU 2025 house in Dreamworld Exhibition Centre

Is the backyard going to be covered? Only watched that small clip once so didn’t get a good look at the layout but surely with that proximity to the roller coaster if housemates were out in the open in the backyard, people on the rides could see them and vice versa?

I’ve been trying to figure out the backyard, too. I highly doubt they won’t give the HMs natural light.

It could be that this is a deterrent and that’s just the auditorium. With the house a few metres away, like theorised in this post:
This is what I'm picturing for evictions, The yellow path being the ride in the golf buggy past various dreamworld icons (The claw, Tiger Island, etc) and then greeted by a row of fans in the light blue zone cheering the evictee in as they enter the auditorium, you could also place cheering fans in different areas of the park as the evictee is driven through depending on how many people attend the shows

But those solar panels though...

But like, where is the yard?!

Surely that’s for the stage

If not it’s pretty evident they have added that image in post over the solar panels. Maybe there is construction going to happen where the back will be demolished?
Someone commented: "Is that the house or the eviction stage?"
BB replied with: "Can’t spoil the surprise yet but exciting things are taking shape inside now with much more to come 🙌"

So not sure if it's the house or eviction stage.

It’s clearly a decoy post, they’ve already said a new purpose built house, not a retrofit of an existing building.

That particular roller-coaster is down for maintenance until December 12, so that won't be a problem.

Well there's that, but what about a yard and pool? Looks very tight. Seven's shipping container pool was just sad.

It wouldn’t be entirely impossible to build a backyard onto the exhibition centre, it would appear these are demountables built next to it, very easy to move away temporarily.

I’d be disappointed if this was the house when it’s a space designed for hosting live audiences and could instead be used for a solid return to live eviction shows. The space would make it feel like event TV which I think we all agree is a key element that needs to return to Big Brother.

Yeah also the "road" would be an obvious route for the audience coming to/from the car park without being funnelled through other parts of the whole place. I'm tending towards the other area nearby that's fenced off being the actual house.

Maintenance might have been extended just for Big Brother, too. It was originally scheduled to reopen next week (September 12th), but from what I can tell, they've extended the maintenance very recently, maybe even today... definitely before the video went up on the BB socials though.

Yeah I definitely remember seeing a September reopen date on the dreamworld website when I was hyper fixated on it last week
