Makes sense to me, especially if smoking's allowed in the BBAU garden.Just came up in conversation. Confirm: it's an air purifier.

As someone who has a ton of experience using a PA the key is to focus on your actual voice and what you’re saying not what you’re hearing if that makes sense. Hearing the bounce back or any delay used to throw me off so much when I first started doing them.I’d be shocked if they’re using wireless speakers to talk into the house. The latency on them would be insane. I’d lose track of what I was saying into the mic if my echo was delayed.
Oh yes, when I hear myself recorded or played back, it sounds much different than when I'm hearing myself speaking live.As someone who has a ton of experience using a PA the key is to focus on your actual voice and what you’re saying not what you’re hearing if that makes sense. Totally. Not like they have their own voice piped through their headset (sidetone), but they’re definitely hearing themselves on the housemates mics.As someone who has a ton of experience using a PA the key is to focus on your actual voice and what you’re saying not what you’re hearing if that makes sense. Can also vouch for this in my line of work. It's the worst.Totally. Not like they have their own voice piped through their headset (sidetone), but they’re definitely hearing themselves on the housemates mics.
Holly was just talking about the cameras and the "speaker on the floor", because she said the sound causes her to look down and not at the cameras.Just came up in conversation. Confirm: it's an air purifier.
Yeah they are speakersHolly was just talking about the cameras and the "speaker on the floor", because she said the sound causes her to look down and not at the cameras.
If they are air purifiers wouldn't they have vents/grills on the sides? There's no visible way for air to permeate them.
There is no way smoking is allowed. It wouldn't be allowed to be shown on Australian TV and I'm pretty sure its also banned at Dreamworld where the house is located.Makes sense to me, especially if smoking's allowed in the BBAU garden.
I'm also curious if they've continued to even use it at the live shows since it got ditched during the Launch filming.Where exactly is the fan pit? For the launch we didn't see the HM beyond the eviction doors before they entered the main house and suspect it'll be the same for evictions, even though the gap between them isn't much at all. I assumed that would be where the "fan pit" is but doesn't seem to be the case.
Scale may be out very sightly, but fitting the backyard exit & initial entry doors seems to dictate the scale. Also the post-it note reveal on the left (over the old merch shop (?)) has shown the scale of the main house plan is fairly accurate even though it seems a tad wide.

Dreamworld definitely has some smoking areas, but yeah, no way it's allowed in the house. There is no way smoking is allowed. It wouldn't be allowed to be shown on Australian TV and I'm pretty sure its also banned at Dreamworld where the house is located.
This is really smart, thanks.OK, I've had even more of a look and tried to get scale and a match to the post-it note reveal. There does seem to be a slight difference between each one they posted, but these scales are a much closer match and I think I originally moved the map layer up too high.
So here it is. Version 2. The full size is 2160x3840 jpg @ 1.3MB (if the XenForo leaves it intact)
EDIT - nope XenForo reprocesses to 675x1200 max.

I assume the live audience demand is less than they expected hence they have no need to accommodate attendee overflow in their fan pit.I'm also curious if they've continued to even use it at the live shows since it got ditched during the Launch filming.
Does this work ?This is really smart, thanks.
Can you upload it on MediaFire or something, so people can download the full-res version?
