New announcement suggests audition videos will be uploaded to YouTube. Sounds like Australia might get (some) say in who goes in? 🤔

They say it’s the “first time ever” but, to be fair, technically it’s not actually the first time they’ve done this. Sharing the auditions online was half the process for the 2008 season too. I even think Australia voted for a shortlist back then as well.

The online audition process was a great build up in 2008 but then they basically ignored it and used it just to send in 3 intruders IIRC all of whom pretty much left within a week.
 
Do we think these audition videos are from applicants that are still in the running or the ones that aren’t and just doing this as a little campaign for the show and the “real” people we’re getting?

All we vaguely know that it starts early Nov. I'm just looking forward to the promos. Hopefully the same approach 10 did all those years ago.

Someone in the comments says their video is included in it, so must be real.
 
Yeah some person with a blue TikTok also commented and said their video was in it and they had it posted all over their stories. But in the t&cs on applications it said you cant post anywhere you’re applied or you’ll be not accepted…

I mean if they’re posting the auditions themselves publicly to see viewer reaction to some of these applicants I think it’s allowed for them to hype themselves up right? Haha

I can’t imagine the ones they post to YouTube/ instagram will actually get on though because i feel it would ruin the surprise of the housemates? Like I can go and google and look up these people if they’re sharing their name and video prior to them getting in the house. Or potential other housemates can do this too

Honestly for as much as I thought Uncut was essential I’ll take the return of the live feeds over it any day. Also as @matts bb has said for a short run I’m not that bothered by it. Also agree with BB’s decision not to upload old Uncut episodes. Sounds like they might have had some pushback from former HM’s.
