it says a lot for how memorable the season was! To be fair it was 2020 and the world was becoming a hellscape at that time, so you may have just blocked a lot out from that time - I know I have.I've been watching Xavier Molyneux on the Neighbours reboot for the past 2-3 years and it only just clicked last week that it's the same guy from BB 2020.
I was posting on here every night during 2020, how the hell didn't I recognize him???

Wahoo!
Wasn't he that one that had no relevance to the edit until it came to the episode he was evicted?I've been watching Xavier Molyneux on the Neighbours reboot for the past 2-3 years and it only just clicked last week that it's the same guy from BB 2020.

Understandable he was forgotten.

I'm a Music Producer, what of it.
Just had a casting producer post in my local fb group haha, with 55% of pop 60+. Will be interesting if they snag many older gen.

Worst case scenario, they just bring back Terri for the bajillionth time.Just had a casting producer post in my local fb group haha, with 55% of pop 60+. Will be interesting if they snag many older gen.
They should close the casting earlier and bring it back a month earlier. Who cares if the house isn't ready - might help them compete with The Block!Over 4,000 applications in 24 hours. And its open for at least another month.
If this season is successful, I hope they bring back the cattle calls. They were actually really fun to go to in person.

Gives me flashbacks to the first thing Seven released at their upfronts in 2019 (the one that used old, even for then, BBUS/CA footage). They used stock footage of people building a house and people thought it meant they would be building the house before the game started. They should close the casting earlier and bring it back a month earlier. Who cares if the house isn't ready - might help them compete with The Block!![]()

So the thread about the house has been locked, but I'm super curious where they could possibly fit the house.
They do have an exhibition centre at dreamworld now which seems to make sense for the live shows, provided that DW are ok with not being able to book it out for the whole run, but seems unlikely for end of year. (Ruling out the house being built in there as it's only 1500m2 and the last 7 House was in a space 3000+m2)
According to users on parkz.com.au, there is some space to the right of the Gold Coaster where new permanent fencing has been erected and some land clearing works are underway, it's also very close to the exhibition center, so maybe?
Also looks like the other side of the park is currently under some rezoning proposals with applications for new buildings on the old amphitheater site, so I doubt we'd see that space used.
But does anyone know how/if Dreamworld has to submit planning/development applications to the local council? There is literally no record of any works at dreamworld on their site which seems strange...
(I can add sources later if anyone wants, but I've been doing lots of digging lately in the past few days so might take a bit to dig stuff back up haha)

Actually good that they are casting the net wider than Insta/Tiktok. But please, no more Terris/Terences.Just had a casting producer post in my local fb group haha, with 55% of pop 60+. Will be interesting if they snag many older gen.

They’re really sticking it to the 7 era and we love to see it

T.R.
I keep on running planning,running planning,ohyeah
Yay! No Strat Chat allowed. That was all the Channel 7 version was about. “I’m going to make a big move…blah blah blah”. That was one of the biggest things I disliked about their version. Good riddance.

Random dump of images from BB's Instagram to save a click - or is it just me seeing 'View this content on Instagram'?

Most of BB's bingo card sounds amazing except for "Big Twists" - is there even enough time for that in 2025? Unless their twist is 'Surprise, we're staying on air over Christmas' or 'Surprise, we're waiting for 2026'

Me too… that always felt very juvenile to me and too family friendly. Plus Friday nights are for me to binge series etc… or maybe do stuff with friends if I can be socially botheredFriday Night Live is not there, and I'm fine with that.

I've noticed that any comment on their socials that mentions FNL does not get a response from the BB socials. Whereas anything to do with casting real people and it being live gets responses. As fun as it would be for it to come back I can't help but personally feel that FNL feels a bit dated for the modern show.Friday Night Live is not there, and I'm fine with that.

I guess it was never part of the first few seasons, so I can't imagine they'll bring it back for this series, but potentially next, as I can see a fair few comments asking for it to return.I've noticed that any comment on their socials that mentions FNL does not get a response from the BB socials. Also a few asking for Mike Goldman to be narrator, which I believe should be the case. He may not be everyone's cup of tea, but hearing, "Coming to you live from Dreamworld on the Gold Coast!" isn't going to be the same if it's someone else.
