based on the summery clothes it can't be in the last few days unless it is a lot warmer somewhere in the country than it is in SA right now!

I was going to say the same (summery clothes). It's freezing where I am. Unless they're up in far North Queensland or the Northern Territory, that could explain why they're dressed like it's summertime.
