I still very much like Dave. He is terrible at the game, and I do t think he is so much a d/head, but just a bitchy character. I like the bitchy type though

I’ve slowly been turning against him watching the show this year but then watching his live stream and hear him talk about his charity work reminded me of how awesome he is as a person.

IMO I think if he actually cared about the game he could do well. I think this time around he just doesn't give a fuck.

I don’t mind that he is totally stuffing up any game plan or he doesn’t care. He is still very much entertaining the viewers. His commentary is all I need

Yeah I’m really invested in this season (hence talking about it on a forum). I watched the 2020 season during lockdown, but hated the intense focus on one or two people that I didn’t care for. I watched a bit over a week of 2021 but couldn’t stand the Danny show so I quit. I watched none of VIP. Including old housemates this time around has sucked me back in.

Not entirely true, there are people who sit 4-12 hours a day watching people live streaming on Twitch now, where streamers pull in 1,000 to 100,000 concurrent viewers. A house live feed would still suffice.

yep it is definitely a thing. i reckon it would have been even more popular if they had it this series

I mostly like that he isn't what I expected him to be. And that I had long expected Tim, Tully and him to be an alliance and it isn't totally following that narrative to an extent.

I honestly don’t think a live feed/people sitting on the couch “chatting” is viable this day and age, no one has the time.

I honestly don’t think it would work in 2022. Needs to be fast and dramatic to work. I’m the minority in this forum but I think 7 are smashing it.

I'm also in the camp of there'd be plenty of people who would watch. I would constantly have it on in the background.

The internet is a different beast these days. There's an endless amount of people who stream hours of seemingly boring content with enough viewers to do it for a job.
