Bucking the system
Which could be unconscious ageist bias. That's a good point, but the most likely thing they'll do is target the last obvious remaining 'other' being much older Marissa.

How is keeping on sbong's good side a better move than voting him out as soon as he doesn't win a challenge?
Cool group is an effective strategy. Angela should have worked on people like Ian imo.
If he keeps winning, you aren't getting nominated. That's very valuable.
The aim at this stage is to not get nominated, which is through winning challenges and people winning challenges who won't nominate you. If the person winning the challenges and nominating isn't you, there's less of a target on your back when someone else wins.
Ian liked her, they got along well. She has no reason to assume he'd nominate her. Ian was manipulated by the "cool kids." He did what they wanted, not what he wanted.
Nah, he says "a few days". They've got the clip of it in James Weir's recap.I thought the SNAG they have playing BB said she would be watching for three days. So one eviction cycle/daily show. I guess that means she gets to miss being nominated for the next show, if that makes sense.
Some people fall prey to peer pressure more than others. Dan is a prime example. As soon as Talia was out of the picture, his demeanour changed from being overtly aggressive (open threats of vengeance toward Angela) to being outwardly more passive, but secretly (if somewhat impotently) plotting. I think Ian is much more of his own man than people give him credit for. His eccentricity shows that he doesn't bow to peer pressure. What if his strategy is to gravitate to the popular group for protection until he can play his long game? I bet he's one of the more popular HMs in the public's eyes. People who come out of the gates plotting and making dumb moves, like Kieran and Dan (look what happened to Allan and Talia) don't make it through.
This would usually happen in the old format too. IE At leaast the HMs would nominate them to go....People who come out of the gates plotting and making dumb moves, ... don't make it through.
I think it's a huge mistake not showing each HM's eviction choices. The nomination/eviction process gives the audience so much valuable insight into the HMs internal machinations and strategies, and we're getting so little of that, even with them being able to discuss nominations. This would usually happen in the old format too. They're on 7plus. - though even those often appear to cut short some explanations.I think it's a huge mistake not showing each HM's eviction choices. Like people being used do you? Yuck.Cool group is an effective strategy. Angela should have worked on people like Ian imo.

But that's great for Soobong, terrible strategy for the others though.
Can you imagine the old 10 format, when they showed the highlights real of the player in the house when they get sent packing, featuring Kieren accompanied by "the good times we had"? We will be seeing his tongue flicking in slow motion and all his "moves"! Ya i will maintain that Kieren is Big Bro's pet minion. So much extraneous footage of Keiran to show - otherwise they could've been added to the end of each episode, before the previews of the next show. I hope, if there is a next season, they tweak the flaws in the edit.
It's not use, it's making alliances. If anyone is "using" anyone it's Daniel, calling Ian his hound!Like people being used do you? Yuck.

I WAS saying Dan was using Ian. Comprehension is not your strong suit I see. It's not use, it's making alliances. If anyone is "using" anyone it's Daniel, calling Ian his hound!
