Good Guy CBS (US) has already announced the launch dates for their next season (2014/2015) shows:

September 21: The Good Wife

September 22: The Big Bang Theory (Under the Dome season finale on this night)

September 23: NCIS, NCIS: New Orleans, Person of Interest

September 24: Survivor: San Juan del Sur (Extant season finale on this night)

September 26: The Amazing Race (new night), Hawaii Five-O, Blue Bloods

September 28: CSI: Crime Scene Investigation

September 29: Mom, NCIS: Los Angeles (new night)

October 1: Criminal Minds

October 27: 2 Broke Girls

October 30: The Millers, Two and a Half Men, Elementary. TBBT also moves to its regular timeslot from this date.

Channel Nine had 3 episodes of Big Bang earlier tonight plus one on Go. Tonight has 2 on main channel and one on Go!

I like the Big Bang Theory... But seriously... Stop filling your schedule with rpts and launch the freakin block already.

the last Dr i saw while mine is on holidays looks exactly like Sheldon, but he was people friendly, was strange :)

they must be having the Block and BB run at the same time, or alternating nights between the 2

they will both be on Go?

So, for those playing along at home... Nine's main channel with their three Big Bang repeats had 16.9% share of the audience. Network 10 with Offspring and Masterchef had 14.7%

If you have been following, Ten have been down in the dumps lately. So for Nine to be only 2% ahead of Ten is actually pathetic.

Like I said earlier, I like Big Bang, but they deserved to get punished in the ratings with their lazy programming. I just don't get it. Why are they relying on tired old repeats of the Big Bang, and three episodes is certainly overkill, when they have a whole season of the Block filmed and just sitting there waiting to get launched.

Wait what? so the Block that has just been filmed in that stupid looking glass building won't be airing till 2015. That does not make any sense, it has to be a typo... It's new.com.au and we all know how horrible they are.

Alex did say a while back that Nine like the idea of the "movie" length episodes for 2014 (meaning 2 hour eps). Maybe this is to make up for the show only being on a few days a week? House Rules is was initially 4 nights a week from what I remember. (Sun, Mon, Tues and Wed) and the Glasshouse season seems to be taking inspiration from HouseRules (with teams judging each other). This would then leave Thursday, Friday and Saturday for BB and then any extras on Go! I guess.

This might be the case and I can see Nine doing this: making Big Brother and The Block run at the same time but on separate nights. Goon however says BB and The Block won't air together. Something's gotta give then? Short season of BB or The Block?

Obviously we would prefer Big Brother to air at least six days a week. Part of the fun of following BB was watching what they got up to in the past 24 hours. I don't want them to make it into Big Brother US style with two episodes a week. :arghh:

Has to be a typo. There is definitely a season of The Block: Glasshouse coming this year. And they are currently holding auditions for the 2015 season.

I didn't even realise it said 2015. Yeah I presume they mean 2014
 
when's the next big ch9 "event" program? That's usually when they start promos for upcoming programs, I'm thinking we'll see a bb promo in the voice finale (but then again, will that be too far off from launch if there's a whole block season to fit in?
