It's still speculation.

Look dude, all I was asking was whether you had an official confirmation of that starting date somehow? I realised that you hadn't and you were just speculating like the rest of us. I 'speculated' that it would be a mid August starting date at the beginning of this thread. I have a brain too.

BBAU 2012 launched on August 13th : FACT
The series ended on November 7th: FACT
Series length: 12 weeks (rounded down) or 88 days: FACT

BBAU 2013 launched on July 28th : FACT
The series ended on November 6th: FACT
Series length: 14 weeks (rounded down) or 102 days: FACT

BB series generally follow a fairly predictable pattern... The information Goon has provided so far is clear and is accurate 99% of the time... If the series is not going to launch in July one can deduct that the show will launch in August... Based on the fact that the previous two series have ended with a day of each other one can conclude that a 2014 series will likely conclude on or around the same date... The previous two series have both aired a televised launch on a Monday night so again one can conclude that a 2014 series will also follow the same predictable pattern... Based on the facts I've just presented the only logical conclusion is that the 2014 series will launch on either the 4th of August 2014 or the 11th...

I can assure you that the information I've presented here while technically speculative and unsourced is just as good and should be considered fact...

I won't continue to debate with you as to whether something that is "technically speculative" can actually be considered "fact" or not because... Well... :bang: :bang: :bang: For me, I will consider it 'fact' when channel Nine release something officially. Until then I am enjoying the speculation.

a) question these theories, and
b) don't start them in the first place.

That may be true that we are never really going to get to the good old days of "Big Brother" but last year's season was very different and had improved dramatically to the one before and I think Alex did take some of our suggestions. It doesn't hurt anyone if we suggest our ideas. We can dream. But yes at the end of the day Big Brother is produced for $$$ ratings and is targeted towards the teenage demographic who watch "Home & Away". And we have to accept the fact that NINE and BB Producers are not interested in having a live/delayed feed.
