Saturday: Mini task to win a party is Boys (Daley, Callum, Dexter) Vs Girls (Gina, Hazel, Sophie) doing a relay type thing between 5 stations in the garden ‘Bop It’ style for as long as possible. The Boys outlast the girls by about 10 secs or so IIRC and win a ‘Girls night’ themed party with PJ’s, Face masks etc. and ‘It’s Raining Men’ playing.
Gina and Jackie try and casually work in bits from Callum’s Audition tape in front of him to gauge his reaction, although they are unaware Wolfy has already taken him aside in the treehouse and told him what they saw, and he lets them know that he fluffed up his VT on purpose to get in the house and the part about the been with over 200 women was heavily embellished and the Mother Daughter thing wasn’t true, to which the others are still a bit unsure about taking him at face value even now. After all its ’Secrets and Lies’.
Gina also has a slight clash with Wolfy over Wolfy not backing her up when Gina told Hazel they saw her say the line about ‘Evil Inside’. Later Dexter finds a tennis ball thrown into the house near the vege patch that is shown to read ‘Dan is an Actor’ but goes to cover it up with a towel and tells Gina and the others not to read it, claiming he didn’t and he doesn’t want them to get in trouble as everyone is ushered inside.
Some of the others are calling his bluff though and Wolfy suggests he likes having the ‘power’ of feeling like he has inside info over the others or something along those lines. Whats more is iirc Where did the Tennis ball come from anyway? Not sure if they briefly acknowledged or not on BOTS whether that was some sort of intentional prank or an actual stray that someone managed to throw in as an attempt to message the house and play with their minds.
Sunday: The drama this episode was around Wolfy’s decision to not share her cigarette stash, for fear of not passing the task and everyone oversmoking her stash and leaving her with none. Dan and Joe get into a bit of an argument in bedroom about it after Joe butts into Dan and Hazel’s convo about it, defending Wolfy. Sophie also has a bit of a go at Dexter for coming to wake Wolfy up and saying Sophie and Gina asked him to wake her up just to ask to share the cigs AGAIN, like they couldn’t ask her themselves, all they asked him to do was to wake her up. This upsets Wolfy a bit and she has a bit of tears in the Diary room, then consoled by Hazel and Daley.
Monday: Dan, Dexter and Gina get sent to Jail for noms discussion and spec (Dexter told Gina he didn’t nominate her), during this time in Jail it means they also forfeited getting their personal photos delivered whilst the others get theirs.
Noms this week is Face to Face. Jackie gets a bit passionate and shuts down Charlie telling her to calm it a bit. Dexter is banned from nominating as whilst in Jail he said about Wolfy that 6 people need to all vote the same to get her up otherwise nothing will change. Its Dexter, Gina, then Dan and Wolfy tied all up.
Dan is annoyed with Callum over what he considers an awkward nicey reason for nomming he that he and Dan aren’t close, to which he has words with him after about and Callum tells him he and Gina are closer because she confided in him that she hasn’t said a bad word about him. Dan goes and tells Gina and she drags Callum back into it to haggle over the wording. Wolfy seems to come across extremely confident and a bit cocky she’ll stay. No voting numbers yet - something else is going on.
Tuesday: The shopping task is themed around ’54321’. There will be tasks for the number of housemates corresponding (i.e 5 Housemates for the ‘5’ task) to win a percentage of the shopping budget. In-between whenever the Housemates hear the alarm, they must rush to do whatever BB announces before 30 sec? are up. This includes dressing Dexter with an Item from everyone, Holding hands and chanting at the table, and the 4 Nominees each eating a lemon.
The #5 task is 5 of them bouncing under a dispenser of Fruit juice which drops every so often for them to then run over and fill up a cylinder from the bowls on their heads to the line. They fail that one. The 4 Task is spelling 4 letter words that fill in the blanks of quotes the housemates have said to each other by them running over to find the letters to wear and arrange themselves in time. They pass that one best of 3 out of 4 or something.
Hold up whats going on with Daley and Hazel, they’ve started writing with fingers on each other which the editors have tried to decipher with subtitles as I - L I K E - Y O U and ‘M E - T O O’ hmmmm. In the Wednesday LftH portion, Emma reveals to the Audience they are actually voting this week on one of two pair ups (Dexter and Gina with the most noms, or Dan and Wolfy with the least) to be fake evicted in a double on Friday and move into the ‘Safe House’ a new area with some Swish Pink decor and its own shower, which makes sense cause it appears to be roughly where the BB13 bathroom was. They will be immune from next weeks noms and get to watch the others.
Wednesday: 54321 task continues with everyone up for a cold shower. #3 task is Charlie, Dexter and Daley trying to give the same answers to questions by holding up housemate paddles. They only get one right so fail that one. #2 is Sam and Dan in a two peas in a pod suit trying to catch at least 6 water balloon ‘Peas’ launched from the treehouse. They succeed.
Finally, for #1, It falls down to Gina as the last housemate who hasn’t yet participated, to secure the 60% of the budget they have won, she must only pass a test of bravery by agreeing to be strapped to a spinny wheel blindfolded whilst an expert knife thrower attempts to pop the balloons. He doesn’t actually throw them, and the housemates pass.
Hazel and Daley’s ‘flirting’ has not gone unnoticed by Charlie who attempts to bring it to Hazel’s attention casually. Hazel then tells Daley about it and they seem have a conundrum of making it even more awkward by avoiding each other, or just going f it, how it looks, they haven’t actually done anything and are just mates. Daley’s head appears to be all over the place regarding his girlfriend who may or may not be waiting for him outside the house. Meanwhile Dexter attempts to be frank with Callum that he may be starting to become on the outer with the house with this thing of being perceived as trying to be ‘too nice’.
Thursday: Theres a mini task revolving around Wolfy teaching the others how to talk to animals with stuffed plushies at first, then BB sets ‘Brian the Emu’, ‘Margaret the Oyster’ and ‘Mr Tops the Rabbit’ in the garden for the Housemates to talk to whilst Wolfy has to guess what secrets they told them. She gets one of the twins vaguely correct so wins some fish mackerel to prepare for dinner. Ever analytical Dan still thinks it could be part of the script for Wolfy to exit on Friday.
Shopping gets delivered but Sophie must go to Jail for saying she’d not nominate the twins. Dan gets a bit emotional at the others encouragement for tomorrow’s eviction.
Friday: Another Jack Vs Joe bicker session at the breakfast table in front of everyone, who end up with the giggles at the awkwardness. A mini task for Sophie and the house, She is given a body cam focused on her facial reactions to wear throughout the day, whilst the house is given a secret task to make her project certain emotions such as Boredom, Embarrassment, Laughter etc. Dexter gets a warning though for his and Callum’s part overstepping the line, where they staged an argument meant to make Sophie Annoyed by bringing her into it, when He made a comment about taking the girl out of the caravan park which could be taken offence on behalf of the travelling community.
The fake eviction takes place. First Gina, who is rerouted once outside by Emma to wait in the Diary room for Dexter, who is next. They enter the Safe House and get to work immediately watching the others. Either one of the pair ups would've been potentially interesting in a few ways.
BOTS: Rylan’s Sunday Quiz this week was guessing baby pics. Musical Outro was Adam J and Amelle from Sugababes ‘Love Is All We Need’. There was a fresh Psych on the show this week Rachel Morris. Anne Diamond from CBB2 made an appearance on the panel and also did a VT segment called ‘Bit on the Rise’. Victor BB5 and Aisleyne BB7 came on for a segment talking about secret rooms wearing Pirate eyepatches.
Jackie Travers displayed more of her Dancing in the ‘BOTS needs to fill 3 minutes of airtime’ VT this week (Rylan in particular loves to throw to and imitate her VT dancing package). At first I thought the music was similar to Harlem Shake but Its something else. BB1’s Darren made a cameo on the VT Team goes out and about segment this week at a Michael Buble concert at the O2. Bit on the Psych had an all Psych panel with no Evictee this week of Judy James, Kate Marlow and Dr Funke.
Saturday: Jackie fractures her wrist jogging and gets sent to Hospital for the morning to get a sling. The housemates are told ‘Viewers’ (Dex and Gina) will control the house for a task to get a Chinese takeaway. They choose Hazel to clean the house top to bottom, Wolfy and Daley to go to Jail and eat a nice or nasty Lunch (Wolfy gets the nasty sandwich).
They Choose the twins and Sophie to answer viewers questions in a convo in the treehouse, and Dan & Sam to receive a treat of drinks and a chocolate cake to pass. Daley and Hazel are still flirting and Dexter/Gina are a bit surprised at how brazen it seems to be coming across.
Sunday: The Safe house watch nominations, Its Wolfy out in front on 8, Callum on a couple then Charlie and Hazel tied. Dexter and Gina get some outside time also while the others dance to music inside, Callum notices Daley and Hazel getting a bit wild on the dance floor and tells Daley to watch the line, which annoys him and Hazel making a big deal of it.
Dexter reads it as Callum only trying to be a friend and Daley actually hasn’t done anything yet despite he and his GF reportedly being on the rocks outside before he came in so he says he doesn’t really know what their status is, but Hazel might be trying to manipulate things.
Monday: Dexter and Gina assign housemates names to some fake headlines for the others to guess for a prize of super soakers. Wolfy and Hazel cop a few negative ones, Charlie says she was relieved she wasn’t mentioned and Wolfy tells her she’s rubbing it in. Sam, Sophie and Jackie must sit out the super soaker fun in Jail as they discussed noms.
Hazel and Daley saga continues, Hazel was telling Joe or Jack earlier they are adults and no lines are being crossed as friends but later she is insisting on cuddling Daley when he’s trying to hide a boner from her. Noms are announced and BB tells Dexter and Gina they will have a secret power to save and replace and have until tomorrow to think about it.
Tuesday: Dexter and Gina are told the person they save will move into the safe house with them, they decide to save Charlie and swap her with Jackie instead of having to share the safe house with Callum whom they were also originally considering (Some opinions on BOTS also were saying strategically they could have went for Wolfy to try and buy them another week being up against later if she is lately seeming like a high chance of being evicted based on the crowd chants).
Meanwhile Callum has a bit of a bicker with Wolfy about her being so cocky she will win, and Wolfy says he is being led by Charlie, which he was really annoyed by as he tells Sam later. Dexter and Gina are revealed to the others alongside an exclusive Pool next to the safe house which now has its window revealed also.
Dexter and Gina relay what they’ve saw to Daley and he is gonna try and reject Hazels advances, Sam also tells Dan he doesn’t agree with whats going on and Dan chats to Hazel that maybe its better for her to be the one to leave on Friday in the Eviction before things get out of hand and her reputation gets any worse kinda thing.
Wednesday: The ’Treasury’ shopping task begins, as The 3 Safe House residents are now members of the Treasury, who must impose taxes on the house to increase revenue for the shopping budget and get through the ‘tough times’. They announce their taxes in the large task room, including Making Jack and Joe spell out a message in spaghetti letters on bread, Hazel not to wear makeup for the task duration, also choose to ban cigarettes instead of takeaway food from the house which leaves Wolfy seething. Meanwhile Gina and Dexter are tempted with a makeover and wine tasting for a fee from the budget they’ve accumulated so far, and also Champagne for the safe house, whilst the house chooses to get alcohol and a party, But Jackie Kicks off at Gina pouring herself a drink that the house paid for.
Just on that for a sec, guys, remember those blue double doors Emma made us think on launch might be a secret room? I think now i’m just realising those are just the doors that the fridge is behind? LOL.
After Dexter is in the treehouse telling Hazel how her actions look whilst Daley comes out and confronts him if he’s talking about him behind his back but he assures him he’s not and they get over it. Charlie then hounds Dexter to tell her what Hazel said about her but he’s reluctant to be the cause of any more gossip and drama, but then he suddenly comes out with that he actually likes Charlie? Who saw that one coming?
Thursday: Callum has a rant in the morning about the others having a row and then being all nicey nicey. Some on BOTS interpret this as perhaps Callum trying to show he’s not a fencesitter or something along those lines. Jackie gets crabby at Charlie trying to get her to leave the cleaning up for later and not helping her finish wiping up with her bad arm, and Dan and Jack have a bicker session outside with and audience over it as well. Dexter and Charlie have more chats about Dexters feelings towards her. He tells Gina he feels protective of Charlie, and also contrasts it to Daley’s situation. Final Treasury task is agreeing for everyone to watch noms which adds back up to about £280 for the shopping budget.
Friday: There’s a ‘Detective Dan’ mini task where he must try and work out the ‘secret saboteur’ (Sam) who enlists the others to help him hide Dan’s toiletries in the vegetable patch and bag up his laundry to throw into the pool. Dan works it out though so Sam goes to Jail for a bit. Dan and Wolfy clear up before She’s Evicted. Callum was saved first, and apparently it was a very close vote between Wolfy and Hazel.
The Housemates are told the Safe House will be reset for a new vote for 2 of them to move in tomorrow (They are shown on the Eviction show as being preselected, with an obvious frontrunner of Daley and Hazel paired together I think). Daley and Hazel discuss what Dexter said about them if Hazel went and she didn’t but its going to be tough if its them together in the Safe house (Dexter is already guessing this). There’s also some more gossip amongst the house about if Dexter’s ‘feelings’ for Charlie are being genuine.
BOTS: Rylan’s Sunday quiz was on Dexter and Gina, Musical guest was Finland’s Eurovision 2013 act Krista with ‘Marry Me’. Some other Guests included Liam BB8, Luke S and Ashliegh from BB13, Will Best was back, Diane Youdale did an analysis segment on the housemates perfume idea drawings.
A big exclusive this week was Daley’s girlfriend Katie agreeing to come on to air her side of things, She actually broke down for a moment partway into the segment and Emma handled it well. Something still feels a little unclear IMO though because When Emma asked her what the status of their relationship was when Daley entered it seemed like she was all in that they were definitely ‘together’ but the way Daley has been talking about it in the house makes it sound like they were on shaky ground and SOMETHING’s gone on in the lead up thats got him so confused about where they’re at and he doesn’t know if he’s coming or going and now this stuff with Hazel is just sending him into a spiral. But we shall see whenever He comes out and also Hazel’s side of things.
It was revealed in Bit on the Psych on the Saturday that Daley and Hazel have predictably won the vote for the safe house next week so we’ve got them until the end of Week 6 at least now.
Emma said on Friday’s ep she was kinda hoping it wouldn’t be them and Dr Funke thought it was rubbing it in a bit now and feels a little bit conflicting kinda thing IYKWIM with AJ going well YOU (The public) did that! but I think its also a bit of producer manipulation there as well stoking the fire, its now kinda bit of grey area drama they’ve gotten themselves into.
They could’ve had another combination to avoid that happening or just made it random (2 with the most votes and then it would be 100% on the public making that choice, especially after the praise they got for how Emma handled that awkward interview) but we’ll see what happens.
