Bachelor In Paradise 2018

ali was much more interesting pre-grant when she had a seemingly endless line of suitors enamoured with her. yet she hardly did anything to encourage that sort of attention.

Same here, no care factor at all. Grant has given us no trace of emotion all series, he might as well be an android. I think Ali is making a mistake moving to LA, where she will be a lonely trophy wife.

grant has the soul of a player. where the women are nothing more than a way for him to boost his own ego.

When will these people realise they have just partaken in glorified holiday romances? They don't work. Like, ever. Ali is making a huge mistake. Keira will eventually throw Jarrod to the curb. And Megan will go back to being a lesbian.

Meanwhile, if Sam and Tara don't work out, love is dead.

the jarrod and keira relationship will last the longest.

finale tonight. one of the greatest ever love stories in the history of human kind concludes its journey on front of our television screens, but will live on for eternity. that is of course the love story of keira and jarrod.

the two strongest relationships on the show mirror the two kind of relationships, the ones that last for a bit, that i see in real life. there is the sam and tara kind of relationship where they seem perfect for each other and never appear to argue, and then there are the jarrod and keira relationships where the couple seems to argue all the time. but they don't do it because they dislike each other, but because of their personalities.

the thing with Jake is - during the Georgia season he came across really well

what's turned us against him?

1 Tara blabbing "everyone on the GC has a Jake Ellis story" <which she has apologised for apparently>
2 Florence and her dramatics <they had history - she wanted to rewrite it ... he was more interested in going forward than looking backward - and with all the dramatics, whinging and b!tching Florence was doing who could blame him for moving on>
3 his apparent love of the party lifestyle <I seem to recall last night there was mention of him arranging functions? so it COULD be part of his job to entertain clients? who knows ...>
4 the squint - we'd be squinting too if we were in sunny fiji and not allowed to wear our sunglasses!

not sure if he deserves the backlash he's been getting especially if its on behalf of "poor hard done by Florence" who is well & truly able to look after herself and her own interests ;)

I was actually willing to be won over by Jake this season, but it just didn't happen. I was thinking that after the comments by Tara and Flo, he'd go out of his way to prove he wasn't like that, but he either doesn't care or we weren't shown it. So instead we just got a really bland, kind of wishy-washy romance where all we saw was kissing, and all we learned about him was that he doesn't like talking. He didn't fight to prove to the audience that he is worth caring about. Which is his prerogative if he was just there for a free holiday and doesn't care what we think. So yeah, he's not bad, just kind of nothing.

it was pretty telling that Megan said they hadn't really share any intelligent <might have been deep? or serious? can't remember - last night was pretty much a snooze fest so I wasn't 100% engaged> conversation ...
takes two to make a conversation though - didn't see her trying to initiate any
(remember Sophie trying to talk to Apollo and all he could talk about was the breadsticks?!) O_O
