Wow. Have to watch this one. For some reason I thought they were down to final 6 tonight.

I think this was a bad move for Flick but good for tv.

I agree. I loved it as a viewer, but it won't advance Flick in the game at all. It was a one-tribal alliance, they aren't going to trust her. She ruined the one friendship she would have taken away from the show, weakened her real alliance and probably only bought herself another few days.

If she isnt immune she goes next unless she is much closer to the Aganoa group than we've been shown.

There was finally a move, even if a bad one. At least all the talk of big moves finally gets us a move and made it the most interesting episode. Maybe Flick thinks if she isn't that liked someone will take her to the end anyway as she wouldn't get jury votes. I don't know if most of them think like that though.

Kristie another confessional at the start along the usual lines that she's a great gameplayer.

Soppy piano music for Sam, as him and Lee give each other 'permission' to play the game in their words. And Lee goes on about family (being an example blah) and good people winning. At least Lee did seem to make a pun calling Flick 'Flip' at one point, I'm assuming it was intentional.

The doom laden music of the episode was a bit overdone, after the 'dog eat dog' remark and then the final vote.

I wonder if they gave away who was going when they showed Flick draw the line, as it looked like Brooke's third vote. So I felt Brooke was going even before I saw the final vote.

I asked about Lee winning because he seems to be acting in the wayAustralians admire.
I'm having an impossible time reading those signals. In the US if someone said they didn't care about the money, the jury wouldn't give it them in a million years.

What are the chances Lee wins now?
There is the potential to avoid voting for him too much as they know he has an advantage but don't know when he'll use it and what it entails. Conversely, they could vote him out before he gets the chance to use it. My feeling is that he'll get top four but where exactly I don't know. I'm wondering how much, if at all, Flick's position is weakened by Brooke going. She has set herself up as a target, well and truly.

Rose, are you an expat living in the US or are you an American? I'm being a stickybeak :)

I'm American. Never been to Australia, but I'm hoping to come in the summer of 2018.
Lee would have been severely criticized for a number of his actions but acting like the money isn't important is a big reason that someone wouldn't win here.

It's obvious to me that Flick is at the bottom of the Lee Aganoa group. It's really hard for me to tell because I don't know think I have any idea what the true relationships are.

Can she move back to Sam and Matt and force a tie? I'm very confused as to what her plan might be.

I'd be more wary of her now, for a start, and you're right to be confused. Her plan might be a bit all over the place or consolidated. Very hard to tell. I'm liking that Aganoa, the first team to almost vanish is now becoming a bit of a phoenix. They were my team from the start.

Could Lee be a better player than we've been shown? His voting against Kristie made the others believe he wasn't close to her, but he went back and mended that bond. That was a good strategic move for him even if she just ended up in the jury.

I wonder if they have avoided showing him having strategy because strategists seem to be portrayed in a negative light. They are treating him as an idiot like Sam and Matt, but could that be to keep the Australian public happy with him?

He didn't play the advantage, but maybe he has a better read of tribe dynamics? Keeping it means that if Flick goes back to Sam and Matt his side still wins.

One of the most pressing questions now is will Lee have the balls to turn on El? Brooke seems to advocate El as some amazing person on one of her exit interviews, worthy of winning, however they certainly haven't shown anything that resembles that. El will choose Lee over Flick when the time comes. Mainly because, she wants that. She is attached to him like glue. It's interesting that the producers have actively chosen not to include any love interest storylines in this season whatsoever. Unlike the US version they have avoided turning it into The Bachelor In Samoa.

Will Sam ever get over his crush on Lee? I mean, it's brought him to tears.

Kristies confessionals have been the best. Can't any of them see her as a threat?
