This is what makes me think it's purely just marketing and these applications are the rejected ones? Putting Angelo, an actor with 200k followers up against randos would go against the concept, right? Haha.

I had my first look at these videos earlier…

My god, I actually know of a couple of them. One is a genuine psychopath. There’s no way some of these are legitimate contenders to actually make it into the house.

It has to be a marketing thing! Like I've seen so many people talk about it on TikTok. I got an email saying that my audition might be uploaded but I'm kinda on the fence. I love the show but from what I've seen so far most people are very influence-y.

I think this confirms the YT videos are the rejects and used for marketing only. One of the applicants shown is Kaley-Jade who is a radio announcer for Star in Townsville which based on the information given out, automatically excludes her.
