Aisha v Lawson

After watching Aisha's childish reaction to the spa treatment, I tend to believe our little NZ chick is a little immature.
That being said, she's over thinking the money she won & begrudges the fact that she should feel grateful for Lawson's decision. She has a giant chip on her shoulders over it and until she started behaving this way I daresay Lawson had moved on from it & thought nothing more of it.
From what we read she IS spending more time with Travis & given her personality I would expect she is acting more like him than she realises. She seems easily led. Inwardly she's probably shitty with herself for being so easily influenced by a halfwit like Travis while at the same time she finds herself oddly attracted to him.

The 'easiest' mark for her frustrations is Lawson.
Is it any wonder that Lawson is losing respect for her?

I wouldn't describe Travis as an Alpha male, more like a loose cannon, a screw loose cannon.
I was thinking similar; he WANTS to be an alpha male ( I am sure I heard him describe himself this way once) but I cannot equate Alpha male with limited intelligence.

But that wasn't Travis's place to go up and say something about it.

Maybe it wasn't but I agreed with him doing that.

I think Travis would have done the same thing no matter what female it happened to.

Travis is an alpha male, but has a sensitive side.

Ryan/Sam on the other had only gives a shit about themselves & are always bitching about his 'underlings'

Lawson isn't a alpha male, but thinks he is.

Actually that is what alpha male is.

They don't like Travis as he's an alpha type guy who doesn't fall into their group mentality. So they see him as competition for their dominance. The thing is, I don't think Travis cares about this.

In summary Sam, Ryan, Sandra, Lawson are all dickheads who think everything should revolve around them.

They don't like Travis not because he's an "alpha type guy" but because he's an ignorant, rude and self-centred moron with no empathy for anyone he's not attempting to hook up with. He doesn't think everything should revolve around him, he thinks it actually does.

I think Lawson telling Aisha that she should keep the $20k backfired. I think he expected her to say no or at least offer to rock off for it or something. I think he was a bit shocked when she said "oh wow, thanks" and took to. In fact we laughed and commented about it at the time here. You"ll notice I didn't say Lawson "gave" her the money. It was not his money. As Travis said, Aisha earned it as much as he did. She is just as entitled to it as Lawson. And now I think he thinks she owes him- when she doesn't. He was obviously out for the brownie points at the time because he insisted that he be the one to tell jake that they were giving the $5k to him. Now he's gone too.

But I do agree, once again the hms are making cryptic comments re situations we know nothing about. We should be seeing more of these back stories rather than wasting air time with obnoxious and boring guests.

When has Lawson stated that Aisha owes him over the twenty grand from the perfect pairs contest?

Nothing could be further from the truth. The only person who thinks Travis is an alpha male is Travis - he's too dumb to know how far from the truth that is.
People say Lawson thinks he is alpha male. The thing is Travis and Lawson wants to be top dog but they got no game on being it.

When has Lawson stated that Aisha owes him over the twenty grand from the perfect pairs contest?
He didn't say it but we are assuming that he probably feels it.. judging by how petty he acts sometime.

I think the whole point is that we are assuming that Lawson feels Aisha should be more loyal to him because in his eyes he gave her the 20k. But really he was the one that made the quick decison and it's big brothers money to begin with.

This thread is mostly based on assumptions. It could be right or wrong we don't know. But one thing for sure is Lawson is a scum

You are all ignoring the obvious, it is really simple.

Lawson only got the big regrets when he realised he isn't going to win, so now he needs that prize money:)

Lawson had been busy setting himself up as a good guy, full package winner game he was playing.
Then he got lost in his own ego, made a false step - and now he is the dirty sleazey guy/victim/whatever.

He has blown any chance of winning.
So - he is getting more and more pissed off with himself, for fucking up, and for giving away that money.
He is serving up his crap to Aisha, he makes her feel uncomfortable with his shitty pissed off look at her all the time.

I didn't say she owes him twenty grand, I said I think he thinks she owes him...as in owes him loyalty, owes him some kind of personal debt, not a monetary one.

And he said in the kitchen to Ryan and Sam that he gave her than money so he would have thought that she'd be nicer to him. It was pretty clear his intent in yesterdays show.

Why is Lawson scum?

I didn't say she owes him twenty grand, I said I think he thinks she owes him...as in owes him loyalty, owes him some kind of personal debt, not a monetary one.

I think its more of the fact that they got on so well as a pair but now for some reason Aisha has taken a dislike to Lawson and Lawson is wondering what happened to their relationship.

I didn't realise that Lawson wrote a $20,000 check from his own savings and gave it to Aisha? It's a game! He chose to give her the $20,000. He never made a plea to keep it. He clearly intended to win browny points as Australia's "golden boy", which probably would have succeeded if not for the sCat debacle and his narcissistic personality disorder/rage.

Lawson said that he had lived a comfortable life and didn't need the money, compared to someone who had moved overseas at a young age without her family. So, he doesn't really have a right to act like he gave her charity. Simply, he stood aside for what appeared to be "altruistic" purposes. His later moaning and demanding of respect makes it clear that there was no element of altruism in his actions, but rather a selfish ulterior motive.

Anyway, again, it's a game. The pair of them won money, there was no proviso that it be shared equally when they found out about it and BB had a good twist for it. Lawson's choice to let her take the $20,000 doesn't mean he gave it to her. He allowed her to win that proportion of the $30,000. Also, he got $5,000... Presuming his hook up with sCat was inevitable he is now never going to win Prize Money from the final of BB without some god given miracle (Prisus, i pray to thee do not allow his success). So he's gotten more money out of it than he should have expected in the first place, and considering he's well-off, he wouldn't need it compared to others in the house.

Additionally, the money that Lawson earned is his and at no point did he offer to give money to others (although there wasn't a chance like there was for Priya and Katie). His idea that he somehow deserves something from Aisha astounds me. He states that he deserves some form of respect and allegiance from her. The dollar value should be irrelevant for any "altruistic" gesture. If I gave someone 50 cents, I wouldn't expect them to swear fealty to me. Nor when I donate to charity, an altruistic action benefitting someone less fortunate than me, do i expect that the charity sings praises of me from the rooftops, or never does something that goes against my wishes. His self-obsessed reasoning is disgusting.

Now I can understand being a bit miffed that Aisha and he are no longer close and she's sided closely with that idiot, Travis. However, to claim that she owes him, to stick by him, is ridiculous. They'd known each other two weeks. The $20,000 did not bind them by blood, nor did it require any sort of allegiance. It was an altruistic gesture (well it wasn't, but should have been), and Lawson has no legitimate claim otherwise.

Can't wait to see the House trial of King Lawson's scandal with sCat. Hopefully he'll be tried, convicted and beheaded. Au revoir King Lawson. Vive la Révolution! Bring on a new Republic (State religion: Pristianity).

Well that's the point of this thread. We are speculating on why they are suddenly not getting along because we don't know. We haven't seen anything about on the show apart from the comments last night. Aisha seems to suddenly have grievances against Lawson but we don't know what they are because we haven't seen it. I would assume she has good reason, she seem relatively fair minded.

I just think we are too focussed on the money situation. I think its more to do with the fact that Aisha doesn't like what Lawson is doing with Cat.

I've missed a few shows through working late shifts so can someone tell me in which show all these demands, ideas, statements and reasoning were aired? I wanna see what the tone of it all was.

Yeah, you could be right. That would definitely be a contributing factor considering what was said last night. It also could have something to do with Lawson trying to in the cool gang (Sam, Ryan and Sandra) and the cool gang don't like Travis so Aisha is planting her loyalty with her boyfriend rather than an ex-challenge partner, which is fair enough. But then Lawson doesn't really seem to have much comprehension of relationship loyalty so it's not surprising he's struggling to understand.

I think it was the Wednesday show? But it might have been because of the hotel task. Lawson was complaining that Aisha wanted her food reheated.
