2016 Celebrity Predictions

So the new ads:

An inspirational Rugby League player who captained a team to a Grand Final win
A male comedian who calls Australia home
A Silver Logie winning female who is a household name in over 20 countries
 
There is also one for a female sports person, I forget how they described her though - undefeated? Her record unmatched by any male? I'm not so good with sports stuff to touch this one.

The rugby league player captained his team to win a grand final too, but that hardly narrows it down.

Oh yeah Layne fits! But again, I know very little. That would make sense at this stage of her life/career too.

Yeah inspirational seems important here, I wonder how tenuous their use of the word is.

I have to admit, I looked up Silver Logie winners and completely ignored she was on that list. Her name was overshadowed by Rebecca Gibney, Asher Keddie, Libby Tanner, Kate Ritchie and Lisa McCune

I was looking for minor celebrities, as there's no way any of those others would do it. Kylie was a silver logie winner, might be her ;)

Kylie has done the voice so it's not like she would be adverse to going on this type of show.

Household name is used very loosely - Skye from BB considers herself a household name. Judging by my Wikipedia searches, over 20 countries bought Mccleod's Daughters, she is also very obviously out of work. I would think Home and Away is far more than 20ish

Yes very true - that all makes sense. And yeah, the fact her name means zero to me is all the more reason for her to do it versus someone like Bec who has not worked in a decade but is not short of cash or fame.

Plus it's not like I knew everyone last year, even celebrity is a bit loosely defined let alone household name.
