Yummy mummy-to-be! Pregnant Sonia Kruger, 49, shows off her baby bump in tight zipper-front dress with a split
By Erin Van Der Meer for Daily Mail Australia

Big Brother host Sonia Kruger is showing up Hollywood's yummy mummies in the style stakes.
The 49-year-old, who in August announced she is expecting her first child, showed off her figure in a silver and black zipper-front dress to host Monday night's live eviction.
The glamorous host looked stunning in the dress, which featured a zip down the front and a split to show off her legs.

Bump watch: Big Brother host Sonia Kruger accentuated her burgeoning pregnant belly in a tight dress to host Monday night's live eviction

The Channel Nine star accessorised with black ankle-strap heels and a large silver cuff on her right wrist, and wore her blonde hair straight and sleek.
She revealed via Instagram that the dress is from Little Black Book, and her jewellery is by Alex And Emma.
The popular presenter is clearly enjoying dressing her pregnant figure, and has been opting for bright and bold pieces over typical maternity wear.

Cheeky! The Channel Nine star shared a snap of a makeup artist applying bronzer to her legs backstage before the show
Last week she looked incredible in a cobalt blue dress that featured a strapless bustier and a split up one side.
She has also squeezed her ever-growing bump into a tight white frock, and a black dress that had both straps on the right.
After years of heartache trying to conceive, Sonia admitted she was overjoyed to announce that she was expecting her first child with partner Craig McPherson.

The first-time mum fell pregnant with the help of a close friend who offered to be an egg donor, and Sonia has been open about the nature of the relationship she hopes to foster between her baby girl and the 'egg mother' that has made it all possible.
Explaining she understands their bond will be 'special' one, the Mornings host told Woman's Day magazine that she isn't intimidated by the integral role her friend will hold in her unborn child's life.
I imagine it will be a lovely relationship,' she told the publication.
'I don't think it will be a daily sort of relationship because of where she lives, but there's a special bond and that's not something I'm afraid of.'

Going out with a rap! Jake performs a lyrical farewell to the Big Brother housemates … and tells host Sonia Kruger he'd choose Lisa over Skye after kissing both
By Erin Van Der Meer for Daily Mail Australia

Jake found himself with the least amount of votes from the public to keep him in the house on Monday night’s eviction episode of Big Brother – but it wasn’t by much.
After an emotional goodbye to his fellow contestants which included performing a rap on the steps before he slipped out the gate, the 25-year-old student was greeted by host Sonia who revealed just how close it was between Jake and a couple of other housemates.
The other contestants’ identities were not revealed, but the results graph showed that after Jake received the lowest amount of votes at 7%, another housemate only got 9%, and another just 10%.

Another one bites the dust: Jake is the latest housemate to be evicted from Big Brother, learning his fate on Monday night's episode
With Jake on the couch, Sonia asked the question that viewers have been wanting to know the answer to: does he like Skye or Lisa better? Or Both?

The quirky Sydney man had to ask the audience for help with his decision, and had trouble choosing who he’d rather be with.
‘Skye is this amazing spirit, and Lisa is this strong woman,’ he thought aloud.
‘Maybe I’ll go with the older woman this time – Lisa.’
The lover of bold fashion told Sonia he does believe the relationships with both women would have happened on the outside.
‘I think so!’ he replied confidently.

What a welcome! The audience went wild as Jake ran into the live studio, leaving the house for the first time in weeks
1412599032925_wps_28_Big_Brother_2014_nFor_fur.jpg

The question on everyone's lips: Sonia grilled Jake about whether he had feelings for Skye or Lisa - he kissed both women while in the house. After some deliberation he chose Lisa
The real-life flatmate of last year’s Big Brother winner Tim Dormer scored a $5000 voucher from Appliances Online, on top of $5000 he scored in the house.
Skye proved more popular with the audience than ever, earning 37% of votes to keep her in the house.
Meanwhile the housemates began a new challenge where they have split into two teams, with one group working as hotel staff that serve the other half, who have nothing to do but live it up.
Not long into the challenge Big Brother revealed to the staff team that the best ‘employee’ will receive a ‘legendary service award’ – and $3000.

It didn't work: The 25-year-old student wished hard to stay in the house but it was not to be
1412599290730_Image_galleryImage_Big_Brother_2014_nFor_fur.JPG

Latest challenge: The housemates have been split into two groups, where one acts as the staff of a hotel that have to wait on the others, who are the 'guests'
However, he warned that if any of the ‘hotel guests’ learn of the monetary reward, the cash will be revoked.
Also on Monday night’s episode, Cat made it into the Diary Room to confess her feelings about inviting Lawson – who has a girlfriend – into the Sanctuary for a night.
‘I became a bit selfish because I just wanted to hang out with him but I chose to forget he had a girlfriend on the outside which is really selfish,’ she said.
‘Because there is somebody who could be getting their feelings hurt. I don’t want to be the person to do that.’

She's safe! Skye is as popular with the audience as ever, receiving the most votes to remain in the house
Lawson also visited the Diary Room, expressing his concerns that his girlfriend on the outside will not want to be with him anymore after he accepted Cat’s invitation to spend a night in the Sanctuary.
The two enjoyed time swimming and taking a bath – albeit in their swimmers – together, and also slept in the same bed.
They pulled the covers over their heads to obscure what they were doing from the camera, although Lawson claims they did not engage in any romantic activity.

Thanks for that. One observation;

Regarding Skye's liking of Jake he says,

"I was pretty devastated watching her all over that skinny little geek"
"That guy is the opposite of me and it just makes me think did she ever actually like me at all?"

So, er, you think she should only like guys that are body builders like himself ?! :bang:

Maybe Skye isn't as shallow as this guy is. pffft

I think he's just realised he can get his 15 mins of fame so he's going for it. I wonder if she'll address the situation when she comes out

'Leo's cutting my grass!': Jake criticises Big Brother intruder's relationship with Skye as he admits he would pursue a romance with the bubbly blonde over Lisa
By Daniel Van Boom for Daily Mail Australia

He became the first guy to enjoy a romance within the Big Brother Australia house when he kissed Skye.
But Jake was feeling the heat of competition when Leo entered the house as an intruder last week and quickly set his sights on the bubbly blonde.
Following his elimination on Monday night, the 25-year-old told Daily Mail Australia 'I felt like I was getting my grass cut,' and admitted that Leo was his least favourite housemate because he's 'in there playing a game, he wants to win some money, he's got an agenda.'

'He cut my grass!': Jake, who had something of a romance with Skye, said that intruder Leo was hitting on the bubbly blonde for the purpose of a 'showmance'
'He knows how important a showmance is,' Jake said.
'Leo walked in there with his game face on and didn't want to spend a second with me...I had a good relationships with Skye and Lisa and he just wanted to work out which girl he wanted to hook up with.'

The student, who currently lives in Sydney, shared smooches with both Skye and Lisa, and on Monday night's show indicated he was more interested in the latter, but it appears he's had a change of heart by Tuesday.
'I think I've got a really great friendship with Lisa but I'd probably pursue what was going on with Syke,' Jake admitted.
He said that what fans see of her on the show is '100% Skye' and that '‘she’s got a really great social awareness, she’s very socially smart. She’s just a bubbly, friendly person.’

Soon after the amateur rapper hit the Big Brother house, news leaked that he lived with last year's winner, Tim Dormer, before his time on the show.
But now that he's out, Jake doesn't know if he'll be living with his curly haired companion again.
'I kind of said "here's my room, if you get someone to move into it then cool."'
He acknowledged that their relationship 'was always going to play a big part' in how Australia sees him, but his priority on the show was to make sure he distinguished himself.
'Having any association with Tim is going to put me in his shadow,' Jake said, 'I didn't want to be seen as another Tim.'

I think its pathetic when they have the gall to call anybody else a game player. Isn't that what they are all supposed to be doing? Then he decided he prefers Skye, after he finds out she is more popular outside the house than Lisa is, as if Lisa would touch him with a barge pole on the outside anyway.

Big Brother's Jake On Living With Tim Dormer and Who Should Win

Jake Richardson made his departure from the Big Brother house last night, after close to a month of confinement. The 25-year-old from Sydney made a splash when he first entered the house partnered with Gemma Kinghorn — he was sweet and chilled out, but a ball of energy too . . . And it didn't take long for his looks to catch some female attention.

First up was 20-year-old Queenslander Skye, who quickly laid claim to Jake and wasted no time pashing him in the spa. But then Jake's attention turned to 29-year-old Lisa from Sydney, and so ensued the first love triangle of the 2014 Big Brother house.

The biggest surprise of all, though, turned out to be Jake's real-life housemate holding fort in their Bondi apartment: last year's Big Brother winner Tim Dormer. Naturally, when we caught up with Jake this morning we couldn't resist the opportunity to find out what Tim's really like to live with, and who he thinks should win. Keep reading!

POPSUGAR Australia: Hey Jake, sorry to see you go last night!
Jake Richardson:
Yeah, it was doozy but oh well! These things happen. It's been good — running onto that stage is exhilarating so that's a massive tick in my book in terms of having a good time. I got to hug my sister, so that was really, really great. I haven't seen her in five weeks!
PS: Were you expecting to go?

Jake:
Expecting is probably the wrong word because you just expect the unexpected. It was a shock but I have no control over it. I guess one of my mottos was just to forget the things I can't control.

PS: So you're housemates with Tim Dormer, last year's winner of Big Brother. What's he like to live with, and did he give you any tips before you went in?

Jake:
He is obsessive compulsive [laughs]. He's divided up the fridge, so I get like two shelves in the fridge and he gets two shelves in the fridge. If we cook a laksa he won't let me use my laksa paste, it has to be his laksa paste. If I borrow some of his coconut milk, it has to be replaced [laughs]. Yeah, I had better housemates in the Big Brother house! And he never lets me borrow any of his thousands of clothes! He has a wardrobe full of clothes and he's always like, "Nah, I'm gonna wear that."

PS: Haha, um, so are you guys even friends?

Jake:
Yeah, totally! Tim was my rock after I broke up with my girlfriend, so we've definitely become really good friends. I've only known Tim for 12 months. I met him at the auditions in 2013. I mean, I met him working at Nova, and then at auditions in 2013 we knew each other. And then he went in and then after he came out I guess we just got along. We both have big dreams and are ambitious people.

PS: Did he give you tips before you went in?

Jake:
No, he didn't! He did say to take risks, and you know what, walking into that house this year was the biggest risk in itself. The housemates who were in there are not the same as the housemates from last year. There's no strategy, you really just have to live each day and take it as it comes. You don't know what's happening and all these people are very different people to 2013 [housemates].

PS: So did you know he was going into the house? [Tim made a surprise appearance in the house in week two.]

Jake:
No! That was such a shock, that was a huge shock.

PS: You held a good poker face then . . .

Jake:
You know what, I was like, why do these people have to know? It's only going to cloud their judgement of me and I wanted them to judge Jake for Jake, not judge Jake on Tim.

PS: On to former housemate Gemma — in the house you seemed to really care for but in an interview I heard with you this morning I didn't get the same vibe. What are your feelings towards her?

Jake:
She is a huge strategist and she just over-thought everything. As soon as I realised that I was like, cool, I'm accepting Gemma for Gemma, who wants to come in here and play a game of Big Brother, she doesn't care if she steps on people's toes, it's just not about that. Whereas everyone else in the house was a hundred percent genuine and that's where she stuck out like a sore thumb.

PS: With regards to Skye and Lisa, were you genuinely interested in either of them?

Jake:
Yeah, definitely! I'm single so I was like, "Cool! This is great, I'm finally in a house where I can hang out with girls again!"

PS: Do you guys actually get drunk at the parties Big Brother throws?

Jake:
No. No, no, no. Well maybe Katie would have . . . [laughs]

PS: So would you see Skye or Lisa on the outside?

Jake:
I'll definitely hang out with both of them! Who knows?

PS: Do you have insight into the Cat and Lawson situation in the house?

Jake:
No! The only thing I can say is that no one knows [that the pair kissed in "the sanctuary" on Sunday night]. So for people to know that on the outside, that's massive.

PS: Were you playing the game?

Jake:
No. I was just being Jake. It just sucks that I had to go!

PS: Best moment in the house?

Jake:
Best moment in the house . . . Oh, that's such a tough question! I'm going to say the 24-hour dance-off with Travis.

PS: Worst moment in the house?

Jake:
Worst moment . . . In the dog kennel with Gemma for six hours.

PS: Who's going to win?

Jake:
Skye. I reckon Skye's got it. She's just a breath of fresh air.

PS: Who should go next?

http://www.popsugar.com.au/celebrity/Big-Brother-2014-Eviction-Interview-Jake-Richardson-35884831

Jake:
I want Lisa to win, but I also want a friend on the outside so maybe Lisa?

PS: You want Lisa to win?

Jake:
Yeah!

PS: And finally, who's playing the game best?

Jake:
Leo.

'It's a blessing and a curse': Big Brother's fiesty blonde Lisa acknowledges her outspoken personality as she is evicted from the house
By Alicia Vrajlal for Daily Mail Australia

She wasn't afraid to speak her mind while inside the Big Brother house.
But after being booted off the reality show during Tuesday night's nail-biting eviction, blonde bombshell Lisa Clark admitted her outspoken personality may have been what cost her the public vote.
'I think it's a blessing and a curse,' the 29-year-old executive assistant told host Sonia Kruger as she appeared on stage at Queensland's Dreamworld, explaining while her stay in the house has been cut short, she doesn't have any regrets.

Booted out of the house: After being evicted on Tuesday night, Big Brother Australia's Lisa Clark talked about her outspoken personality that got the nation talking
'I never realised how outspoken I am until I went onto Big Brother, she said, adding: 'That’s just how I was brought up.'
'I prefer to be honest and straight up,' she continued, adding confronting people to their faces is more her cup of tea in an environment like the Big Brother house which is known for secrets and gossip.
While Lisa received the least votes to save from the Australian public, her main rival in the house David was safe with the highest vote count of 30%.

Who she is: 'I never realised how outspoken I am until I went onto Big Brother, she said, adding: 'That’s just how I was brought up'
'Now that I know he’s most popular I should have shut my mouth,' Lisa candidly confessed after seeing the fellow hot-headed contestant top the voting leader board.
There was no secret Lisa and David didn't see eye to eye in the house, the pair coming to blows immediately when David commented on Lisa's breasts in the first few weeks.
When asked about the incident by Sonia, Lisa said that while she is usually quite resilient, this particular instance shook her to say the least.
'I'm also a woman so to be picked apart like that, I just don’t like that,' she said, explaining on the outside world she's not used to men standing around and critiquing her visual appearance.

Honesty is the best policy: Matching host Sonia Kruger in a sleek black ensemble, Lisa said she prefers being honest rather than talking behind people's backs

Battle of the blondes: The final eviction bombshell came down to Lisa and midwife Cat but it was Lisa given the boot in the second eviction for the week
'David likes to make the point to stand out from what the group is saying,' she continued, adding the pair are still friends despite the bickering.
For the blonde bombshell who was entangled in a love triangle between Skye and Jake, newcomer Leo is someone she had plenty to dish on.
'Fake fake fake,' Lisa exclaimed when asked about the Canadian personal trainer, whom she had personally greeted in the sanctuary when he entered the house last week.
Lisa wasn't the only one who had some harsh words for Leo, with Monday night's evictee Jake revealing his true thoughts in his farewell video.

Provoking emotions: When asked about her disagreements with David, Lisa said that while she is usually quite resilient, his comments about her body upset her because after all she is a woman
'Leo is causing most disharmony,' the spectacled stud told his housemates through a pre-recorded video.
Speaking directly to Leo, Jake said: 'I haven’t been able to trust you,' and gave him some advice of building his relationships with fellow housemates going foward.
Heading to the diary room after the screening, Leo's confidence was seen to have taken a battering.
'They were hard things to hear,' the tanned and toned hunk revealed.
But it seems Leo is quite the strategist Jake suggested he was, as he also told Big Brother: ' I think Jake did me a big favour.'

Frenemies: 'David likes to make the point to stand out from what the group is saying,' she continued, adding the pair are still friends despite the bickering
'It’s a huge opener for me,' he continued, explaining he can now make the most of the situation and ask housemates if they agree with Jake's claims.
The Big Brother hotel task continued in the lead up to Tuesday's eviction, with the housemates split into staff and guests.
It seems the household division was bringing out some of the game players' true colours, with Ryan telling his fellow 'staff members': 'Aisha's really ticked me off.'
Meanwhile David told Aisha and Lisa he feels Ryan, Sam and Sandra are the alpha pack of the house.

ANOTHER one of Big Brother’s outspoken personalities, Lisa Clarke, has been booted from the house.
After Skye had been saved and Jake had been eliminated the night before, Tuesday night’s eviction came down to five housemates — Cat, Travis, Aisha, David and Lisa.

Unfortunately the 29-year-old executive assistant received just 12 per cent of the votes to save, becoming the fifth housemate to be ousted for 2014.
“I think it’s a blessing and a curse,” Lisa told host Sonia Kruger on the couch of her feisty nature, admitting her outspoken personality may have been what cost her the public vote.
“I never realised how outspoken I am until I went onto Big Brother. That’s just how I was brought up.”

Despite being the most unpopular contestant in the house, David was actually the most popular among viewers, taking a massive 30 per cent of votes.
“Now that I know he’s most popular I should have shut my mouth,” Lisa said of her main rival. “David likes to make the point to stand out from what the group is saying,” she said, adding that the hot-headed pair are still friends.

But Lisa didn’t speak quite so fondly of intruder Leo, taking a swipe at the Canadian model and personal trainer. “I don’t like beating around the bush, fake fake fake fake fake fake fake, FAKE!” she repeated when asked by Kruger what the newcomer’s deal is.

BIG BROTHER’S most abrasive evictee Lisa Clark says her run-ins with some of the boys in the house were nothing compared to what she cops as a strip club manager.

The 29-year-old Sydneysider works for fashion brand General Pants by day, but three nights a week is the hostess of a racy lingerie restaurant.

Dealing with hundreds of drunk and often misbehaving blokes each week has made her “hardened and tough”, Clark said.

“I have to be around so many drunk boys and I’ve learnt quickly to cut out the rubbish. I don’t have much patience for it and I’m upfront about that.
“That’s probably why I was a bit harsh on some of the boys in the Big Brother house, I think – especially David.”
She made the decision to reveal the nature of her second part-time job in the first week of the series because it was “bound to come out anyway”.
Although Clark is quick to clarify that she doesn’t work as a stripper.
“My best friend’s family own it, it’s a lingerie restaurant, and I’ve managed it on and off for years, for a long time,” she said.
“I own it. It’s a part of my life and I’m not embarrassed about it. I was never going to shy away from it.”

Clark was a polarising figure in the compound, regularly coming to blows with fellow housemates Skye and David.
Watching some of those altercations back, including last week’s heated verbal brawl with David in the spa, was a confronting experience, she admitted.
“I think I was a bit too harsh sometimes and that’s what I’ll take from this experience.”
As well as seeing herself on TV, Clark has had the opportunity to read some media reports about herself – including the rumour she had dated South Sydney Rabbitohs star Sam Burgess.
“I’ve definitely never dated Sam Burgess. I lived with his ex-girlfriend so that’s how I met him and his family.
“I am a Bunnies fan though and I can’t wait to watch the grand final.”
After being booted from the competition last night, Clark said she headed straight to the Gold Coast’s party strip for a dance.
“I just wanted to go and hear some music. It’s surreal having people come up and ask for photos. It was cool though.”
Big Brother airs on Channel Nine at 8.40pm.

Lisa brands Skye 'a not highly intelligent blonde' and parties with housemates ex flame Jake after her eviction from Big Brother Australia

Following her eviction on Tuesday night, Lisa acknowledged that her outspokenness may have been her downfall on Big Brother Australia.
But on Wednesday she told Daily Mail Australia that she played up her personality in order to separate herself from Skye, who she entered the house with.
The 29-year-old blonde said 'they kind of put me in that blonde, not highly intelligent basket,' after revealing she spent her first night out of the house partying with Jake, who was himself eliminated on Monday.

Separating herself: Lisa, evicted from the Big Brother house on Tuesday night, told Daily Mail Australia that she overemphasised her personality on the show as she wanted to stand out from Skye

Not just a pretty face: She entered the house as a pair with Skye, and didn't want to be put in the 'blonde, not highly intelligent' basket
While admitting that they 'went out to a dirty nightclub and danced away,' Lisa quashed any romance rumours between the two.
'We're gonna be friends for a very, very long time. He's going to be one of my best friends,' she said, before adding resolutely 'nothing happened last night.'

Speaking of her time on the show, the Sydney-sider admitted she was a little concerned with being paired with 20-year-old Skye, who looked to be a 'not highly intelligent blonde.'
'I thought that's what I was going to be perceived as and that was a little bit scary,' she admitted.
'I think I overcompensated to be a little bit more full on than I needed to be just because I'd gone in there as one of the two blondes.'

Online fine line: using social media to predict the Big Brother eviction

The suspense of reality TV hangs on viewers' votes for contestants. Can social media predict winners and losers? AAP Image/Nine Network/Paul Broben
Reality television, alongside shows such as Q&A – which may be Reality TV in all but name – frequently drives social media conversations about the Australian television industry.
Big Brother, currently screening on Channel 9, is consistently among the shows with the highest levels of chatter in that regard. The precise Facebook data is hard to quantify but the Official Big Brother page boasts 805,400 likes and more than 59,000 comments since the start of the series, suggesting it has established a firm presence on that platform too.
But the degree to which social media participants are predictive of the television audiences voting patterns provides an interesting lens through which to examine the respective audiences.
The official Big Brother Australia webpage has launched an activity counter, the Big Brother Radar, which captures tweets and Facebook statuses by those who using official Channel 9 hashtags (e.g. #BBAUGemma).
But we also have our own tool monitoring Big Brother discussion, The Hypometer, which attempts to measure the underlying volume of discussion on social media (and, by possible inference, interest) in the housemates as a group, tracking multiple permutations of names and keywords.
In the second week of the show, a live vote for the dance-off of the “Perfect Pair” dance competition, in which the winners were awarded AU$30,000, was held between Lawson and Aisha & Dion and Jason. The public then voted for the winners through JumpIn; which may just as easily have been a popularity vote.
Indeed, if we use social-media activity as a barometer, it seems that could be the case. The running totals of tweets for the pairs showed a tight race, which Lawson & Aisha just pipped, and indeed the public vote came back 51.8% in favour of Lawson & Aisha.

The Big Brother house was certainly shaken up on Wednesday night after the week's new nominees were announced.
After heading into the diary room one by one, six housemates were announced as those up for eviction.
It seems Lawson the magician wasn't quite able to work his magic this time around, leading the nominations tally board with 12 points.

Drama: The Big Brother house was certainly shaken up on Wednesday night after the week's new nominees were announced
This is the first time the 23-year-old has been up for eviction, along with paralympian Sam and real estate agent Jason who also made their nominations debut.
Following Lawson was bubbly blonde Sandra on 10 points, with Jason just one point behind on 9.
His BFF in the house Priya, who is no stranger to nominations, stood in at 7 points while Sam and Travis tied with 6 points each.
The head of house power that truly added a spanner in the works was controlled by Cat this week who had 12 points at her disposal.

She's got the power: The head of house power that truly added a spanner in the works was controlled by Cat this week who had 12 points at her disposal
After having a look at where some of the housemates ranked, she decided it was time to throw some points Sam's way so he truly 'appreciates' being in the house.
Meanwhile Cat, who was in the bottom two during Tuesday night's eviction before Lisa was given the boot, was actually nominated by some housemates but not enough to get her into the red zone.
Graphic designer Ryan said he just doesn't connect with the midwife, and allocated three of his five nomination points to blonde beauty Cat.
Meanwhile 20-year-old Skye nominated Lawson because 'he needs to be saved from his head exploding'.

Drama: When brunette beauty Aisha stepped into the parlour for a special spa treatment, things took an uglier turn
Another housemate escaping nomination was the formerly bearded David.
The outspoken personality decided to nominate Jason this week, citing gossiping as one of the habits he didn't admire in the real estate agent.
But it seems the drama in the house was already unfolding even before nominations began.
Being set a task of running a hotel, half of the housemates this week were hotel staff serving the other housemates who indulged in five star luxury as hotel guests.
But it seems the household division took its toll on some of the players, with jokes taking a somewhat nasty turn in the process.

Too much? Housemates Sam and Priya took their services to the next level, leaving Aisha a little

When brunette beauty Aisha stepped into the parlour for a special spa treatment, housemates Sam and Priya took their services to the next level.
What was meant to be a light massage and makeup session turned into a little prank involving hair and beauty products that left Aisha feeling less than comfortable.
Walking out after her spa session, a tearful Aisha regretted not standing up for herself during the treatment.
'It hits you after,' she told her other housemates. 'I'm not a real tough chick.'
Retreating to the toilet to shed some tears on her own, Aisha was then joined by 'boyfriend' Travis.

Clash: Walking out after her spa session, a tearful Aisha regretted not standing up for herself during the treatment and speaking against Sam
'I don't want to make them feel very bad about it,' she told him, but Travis was ready to stand up for his girl and stormed off to speak to Sam.
'She's upset she didn’t walk out when she should have,' Travis told Sam, adding: 'I think definitely an apology is warranted.'
Indeed Sam delivered his apology, saying 'I do feel bad' and that he wouldn't like this incident to affect his friendship with Aisha.

'I appreciate the apology and sincerity,' Aisha responded, adding: 'I know you do feel bad.'
'Theres no way I’d let it affect our friendship,' she continued.
When Sam explained he didn't appreciate Travis's interference, Aisha clarified she 'didn’t ask Travis to say anything.'
This in turn led to a little confrontation between the cute couple, with Travis struggling to understand why Aisha said what she did.
'I love your protective nature,' Aisha insisted to Travis, explaining Sam had taken her quotes out of context.

Brotherly love still strong for original Big Brother contestant Tim Brunero
October 9, 2014 - 12:15AM

Article%20Lead%20-%20narrow6164635610pavsimage.related.articleLeadNarrow.353x0.10pams.png1412730215052.jpg-300x0.jpg

Journalist, author, and ABC radio presenter Tim Brunero was also one of the original Big Brother 2005 housemates. It's not an experience he'll ever forget.
Big Brother, Australia's leading reality TV "social experiment", is back on air with all the usual heroes and villains we've come to expect.
For the viewers attracted to this genre it's a diversion, something to watch with the brain in neutral and a touch of schadenfreude as the contestants find themselves in situations or making statements they might one day live to rue.
But for those who have been through the Big Brother process, it's much more.
actually teach those who take part more about themselves than they expected.
"When you live with people in a giant share house you laugh with people, butt heads with people, and learn stuff about yourself. It's a raw social experiment," he said.
"In the first week you're adjusting: the neon lights 24 hours a day, fitting in with 12 other people in a surreal environment, coming down off sugar and caffeine and for some, cigarettes. The first week can be rough. I remember the first week was like being in high school again. I really disliked my nemesis, Dean. He was a big muscly fellow that everyone thought was funny and smart. I thought he was a bully and a pig. And I really wondered for weeks whether I was just jealous of his looks and charisma. But after a few weeks other people started to twig (the audience was quicker) to his true colours. It was a real affirmation that what I was feeling was right.
"I also learnt sometimes to shut up. I watched housemates talk themselves off the show – like when Kate started talking about how she was grossed out by gay people. I just shut my mouth and watched her tie herself in knots thinking – that's it, you're out, I've beaten you."
Even now, he watches the newest crop of housemates and finds himself remembering exactly what it was like to face the same moment.
"When I watch the show I see moments all the time and think 'wow I remember how tough that was'. When housemates are one-on-one with Big Brother and getting grilled on their real feelings and you can see they're tired and cornered I send them good vibes. Also when you're having a proper verbal fight with someone you really don't like it's tough. You can feel the attention of the cameras and producers falling on you. It's like Sauron's all seeing eye."
It's not fair, Brunero admits, but even that is part of the game.
"You go into the show knowing it's not fair," he said.
"It's a game show, not the Olympics with someone testing your urine and making sure you're not wind assisted. You just have to control what you can and not worry about what you can't. There's no point complaining, you just have to do your best with what you get dealt."
And ultimately, even with the fights, the tears and the complete and utter lack of privacy, it's still a lot of fun.
"Would I go to the Gold Coast in the middle of winter to sit around in the sun with no bills, responsibilities, phone, keys or wallet? Absolutely," Brunero said.
"Good food, no booze, hours of gym and running each day - I've never been so fit and healthy or so rested. And it was SO MUCH FUN being in an all-consuming game show like that - just you against 200 producers and 20 housemates trying to navigate through to the ultimate prize, constantly thinking about how you are being represented and interpreted. It's uncomfortable at times but just so fascinating to see from the inside. It's literally a money-can't-buy experience."

Sonia Kruger reveals she's got 'so many' women in the TV industry she can turn to for advice on juggling motherhood and a presenting career

Being a busy host of two shows, Mornings and Big Brother, means Sonia Kruger is looking for as much advice as possible on how to juggle both jobs and her new role of being a mother.
Looking to fellow presenters and friends including Leila McKinnon, Lisa Wilkinson, Georgie Gardner and Chris Bath, the 49-year-old knows she’ll learn a lot.
Speaking with The Daily Telegraph, she said most of her friends have children and they have made it work very well.

Helpful pals: Sonia pictured with friends Lisa Wilkinson, and Julia Morris before the 2013 Logies
'We are fortunate because our jobs do have a degree of flexibility to them and a lot of women don’t have that.'

She is now realising the amount of sacrifice her own mother made for her, saying: ‘My mother was very hands-on when I was little.’
'I was into dancing and she made my costumes and she came with me, but she wasn’t a stage mother – if anything she was more on the tough-love end of the spectrum.'

The presenter revealed she wants to be as involved as her mother was with her, in her own daughter’s life.
And she also said she is happy with whatever her daughter decides she wants to do, as long as she has a decent education that will be enough.
Sonia has been showing off her growing baby bump during the Big Brother live shows, hitting all the right fashion notes on the show.

'Emotional': Sonia was feeling the effects of the flu during the Big Brother eviction night on Tuesday
But the presenter was feeling a little off on Tuesday night, as she was sick with the flu and struggled to get through the eviction.
In a photo she posted on Instagram, she is seen lying on the floor with tissues and tissue boxes surrounding her, joking it was in fact because the eviction made her ‘ so emotional’.
Sonia is due to give birth to her daughter in early 2015.

Thursday night's episode of Big Brother Australia was the most explosive and emotional yet.
Cat and Lawson's rendezvous in The Sanctuary last week played out before the pair's eyes, and the spoken for magician was faced with the consequences of his actions.
With his girlfriend of five years, Candice on the outside Lawson broke down in tears after watching the same footage she would have seen air on the Nine Network.

Tricky: It all unfolded when Big Brother called Cat to the Power Room for a a chance at striking an advantage

It all unfolded when Big Brother called Cat to the Power Room for a a chance at striking an advantage against her housemates.
Big Brother offered the blonde the most explosive power play so far by offering her two cryptic DVDs.
The first labeled 'Big Brother’s Secret' with footage from housemate's nominations and the second, 'Your Secret' with her face emblazoning the front cover.
Unfortunately for the Victorian mid-wife, the latter contained footage of her and Lawson's late night romp in The Sanctuary.

Shameful: BB began to roll footage of the naughty twosome in the secluded area, and all they could do was giggle

'Big Brother will allow you to watch his secret if you allow all other housemates to watch yours,' his voiced bellowed.
'As this footage also features Lawson,' BB allowed the 23-year-old into the Power Room to help Cat make her decision.

As their faces went dead pan, the scene cut to them in bed, kissing under the covers.

Tough to watch: The Western Australian's mother passed away following a motorbike accident when he was just 19
Both red-faced, Lawson fought back tears covered by a fake laugh - Cat left the decision up to her younger lover.
'Some secrets are best kept,' Cat told Big Brother, and with that she gave up her power play.
Moment's later, Lawson went to The Diary Room where he broke down.
'Big Brother I think that I've let everybody down,' he confessed.

Got the guilts: Lawson has now seen what his girlfriend has seen on the outside
But the emotional confession didn't end there as he pleaded to BB for answers from the outside.
'Big Brother, before we came in here we wrote three things down on a piece of paper that you were going to inform us of if they occurred. My girlfriend breaks up with me Big Brother?'
But the faceless man couldn't offer the usually bubbly character any closure: 'Well Lawson, Big Brother has no news to report. Lawson, you bring fun and a lot of joy to this house.'
'It's just you're meant to be a reflection of your parents Big Brother,' Lawson responded. 'And I'm not a reflection of mine.'
