2012 US Presidential Election

They're saying on the TV just then that Wisconsin's called and Obama only needs Ohio? This is looking pretty good for Obama anyway.

Just heard Claire McCaskill over Todd Akin (the guy who said rape victims would miscarry).

It's looking like Congress won't change. The Republicans have held the House and the Democrats look like they're holding the Senate. So more stalemate?

The states to watch according to those two pages:

Florida - 29 electoral college votes.
Pennsylvania - 20 votes, CNN has it listed as leaning Democrat.
Ohio - 18 votes.
Michigan - 16 votes, CNN listed as leaning Democrat.
North Carolina - 15 votes, leaning Republican according to CNN's predictions.
Virginia - 13 votes.
Arizona - 11, leaning Republican
Wisconsin - 10 votes.
Colorado - 9 votes.
Iowa - 6 votes.
Nevada - 6 votes.
New Mexico - 5 votes, leaning Democrat on CNN.
New Hampshire - 4 votes.

270 needed to win.

Arizona just got called for Romney. Pennsylvania, Michigan, New Hampshire, New Mexico, Wisconsin called for Obama.

new Hampshire is the Republican VP candidates home state - he's failed as their pick :)

This coverage is quite interesting.

Saying this is THE LAST election a candidate while try to win with a white anglo majority.....minorities are taking over, not minorities anymore, especially with Latinos.

Soooooo, does that mean we may get even more cultural diversity as Pres????Sounds good to me.
