What of the Sontarans?

I would not mind seeing the Robot come back.

For the time it was an expensive and elaborate costume IMHO and one that
looked great.

However why are we visiting places we have been to already? I mean
"New New York" . We've been there so why come back. I also am one
of those folks that hated the idea of the endless gridlock, but did love
the way the Doc jumped from car to car. Like a game of Frogger in air.

I am sad Boe is gone. That was a sad moment. I liked his explanation of
everything. However there were a few holes in the episode. For one how
did the Macrans get onto this planet, and no one ever noticed them?

An alright sort of episode but I'm sad Boe is gone, but we did get to see more
feeling from the Doctor, especially at the end.

did someone say in an earlier post that the sontarans were coming back in the next series? i am way too lazy to go searching through the threads lol

There were rumours that the Sontarans would appear in this season. Then that was refuted and suddenly it was the Sea Devils and that never eventuated.

Doctor and Martha taking on the Zygons? DONE! Dr Who: Sting of the Zygons

I think the Sontarans thing was because of the Judoon - similar look in helmets so that's the rumour that floated out of filming.

But are the novels any good? I've seen them, but I'm a bit reluctant. The old Target ones were crap. I did like the New Adventures, though...

What do you do when you have a day off, go watch the new Harry Potter, buy some new clothes then come home and watch the last 3 eps of Season 3 :D lol
Hmmm i am weird in thinking that the Master is hot? lol I love John Simm he would make an excellent Dr now that would be weird lol

Absolutely not! I've gone totally fangirl for John Simm (just started watching Life on Mars too which is great). His version of the Master is really one of the best bad guys I've seen on a show. That scene where he dances to the Scissor Sisters is the best :D

ahhhh Sam Tyler is completely overshadowed by Gene Hunt. Brilliant show, crappy ending.

Shhh, haven't watched the whole thing yet. I'm worried about how they're gonna end it actually.

And yep, I love Gene Hunt too :p

Well you'll be happy to know that Gene Hunt will back in "Ashes to Ashes", a sequel of sorts to Life on Mars, this time set in the early 80's and he gets stuck with a female partner in the same situation as Sam.

Oh come on..... hehe. How do they get the new protagonist into their
'time warp' Is it another accident?

Anyone want to PM me on the ending to Life On Mars. How did they resolve
the whole thing? Was it all a dream

So the ads are non-stop on the ABC so I'm thinking as the "cat is out of the bag" I can say this:

Daleks are back tomorrow night.

They are the "ultimate" baddie in DW in my opinion and as such they should be used sparingly - I want to yearn for their reappearance. I think we are seeing way too much of them and therefore their value as a baddie has been devalued.

Less is more.

Anyone agree/disagree?

-------------------

Geez, I still want to see one fall down a flight of stairs. Must I go to my grave unsatisfied? A lifelong yearning? :(
