Honestly I hope they change the entire setup once they realize this series could in fact last longer than 3 series.Ok maybe I spoke too soon... the stage looks quite nice. I know from back on BB07/08 and even during the 9 era that the set looked so weird during the day. But it looks pretty cool here. I hope they incorporate seating at some point though.
Gold Coaster or King Claw... which one will claim a spot in the opening titles (if any at all)?Dreamworld product placement
Would like the gangway back if they can squeeze one in though. From this shot, the set looks quite good. Get some overhead shots and strobe lights and will give a similar effect to the amphitheatre IMO
Agree it does look quite good lit up.From this shot, the set looks quite good. Get some overhead shots and strobe lights and will give a similar effect to the amphitheatre IMO

I could be wrong but the eye on the stage and the “doors” mimick the entry hallway…. I reckon it’s going to be done as an illusion it’s a walk into the house situation.
Watching this is a bit like living in an alternate reality as there was a time where looking at the houses from smaller European countries was just to see how bad they were. Albania has a population roughly the size of Brisbane.

But... but... they have ceilings! This video is doing a good job at covering up the fact that the house is plastered with advertisement.
At the end of the day if it takes a bit of product placement to beef up the budget for a decent house I’m all for it.This video is doing a good job at covering up the fact that the house is plastered with advertisement. You can already see a lot of it but there is even more and it's very rare that you a get shot without lots of ads in the background. That's how they pay for that house. Just take this scene from the outside area. It's very clean in the Twitter clip (around 1:33), but it's not so clean during the episodes. You could use this for these phone-in scams: Name all the sponsors you can see in this image.

That said though.. you're absolutely right with the production value. It's insane how much it improved. For comparison, this was just two years ago:

We discovered the dining chairs in the house were $300 each. Pity they didn't even have closing credits so the sponsors could at least get their logos on screen. Bizarre. At the end of the day if it takes a bit of product placement to beef up the budget for a decent house I’m all for it.
I'm surprised they didn't even have a list of Credits on the website (not that I could find anyway). We discovered the dining chairs in the house were $300 each. Pity they didn't even have closing credits so the sponsors could at least get their logos on screen. Bizarre.
There's a list of sponsors though, but I don't think sponsors would get much mileage out of it.I'm surprised they didn't even have a list of Credits on the website (not that I could find anyway).
Probably works better for KFC than furniture stores.I’ve never got why companies sponsor shows. There has only been a handful of moments over my many years where I see something and think to myself “I like that (insert random bit of furniture here)”. But 15 seconds later I’ve already completely forgotten the thought.
