It's also possible they just ran out of budget for novelty costumes. The props team did a good job on the hotel task, meanwhile this Christmas setup is just tacky Kmart tinsel and wrapping paper.

idk about the budget choices, they had Bruce and Holly blow up about 6 massive floaties for a nearly half size pool and they aren’t usually too cheap. and most of the decorations for BB hotel were bad quality (vases leaking and the shitty bev dispenser taps that leak) - but i hope they do a dinner, if anything just for some content that people have been actively asking about
