I think having executive producers who (from what I have gathered, at any rate) have mainly been involved in shows like The Dog House, and Australia's Got Talent, and not competitive reality TV, is a large part of it. I wonder if Sarah Thornton thinks Colin is like an adorable rescue dog?

I think the issue is the producers at the Endemol end are trying to do MAFS / Love Island product that they have worked on. You need someone who will do BB as BB and not a mesh of the other formats that came after.

I just hope it’s not actually the Network doing this and wanting the Love Island style product. I imagine the promos were produced by the network and not Endemol, which would mean it’s the production fucking this up…. But honestly who knows. Whoever signed off on that live stage is a fool - the investment in it has been a waste and the look is terrible with the weather,

I would expect the network to be fine with it. We know from the 9 era that the network guides the production and 10 has their own exec producer on it. If they wouldn't be at the very least tolerate it, I would have expected somebody from 10 to step up and ask them to change things.. just like 9 asked them to make it family friendly.

No it’s aired on an hour delay, so filmed live in Queensland and then aired an hour later in Queensland

QLD is on a 1 hour delay unfortunately. So we never get it live. I have to watch it through the 10 app with NSW selected.

Even kid friendly Nine era Big Brother looks like a masterpiece compared to this.
