Episode Day 8 Eviction Show - 16/11/2025

If they do read here, my wants are yes eviction percentages are very needed, reaction of evicted housemate to footage in house even if not that long but something please and give us more than 1 vote per eviction please and thank you. (I did like the countdown).
They still have time to rectify the percentage graph and "best bits" for Michael on tomorrow's show.

Please do.

Cautiously I am hopeful. I am fully anticipating that since Saturdays/Sunday Morning-Afternoon is likely all cut from daily shows Monday nights may be a short daily show that covers the eviction aftermath and nothing else followed by nominations and the eviction interview.

Good point. We do know that almost all of today was a "flamingo", so that's very possible. I don't entirely agree with these "rest days" but you may be onto something with this theory...

🤞

It makes sense to me, why else would the dead day be carried over until Sunday evening. And I guess eliminations are such high impact on reality TV it would be strange (at least from a TV point of view) to rinse and repeat the day and then have the eviction in the back end of the daily show. Modern casual audiences are more likely to ease in to the daily show starting from the eviction announcement. It sucks but since BBUK and BBUS (different kettle of fish but still) both do this I guess its just something that is the norm.

IDK why else they're including an interview with the evictee in the noms show. But it makes sense to me, eviction day is simply just that so there is no need from productions end to have to include weekend content when they don't have to and can instead make use of a live show.

I’d like percentages, but I don’t see why Michael getting the boot is proof of vote manipulation.

Also I feel like that disclaimer about voting being for entertainment purposes is just to cover their asses. In the same way the disclaimer also says “No prizes are on offer for voting”.

They can only do so much to secure free online voting. Unless a MyGov login becomes a requirement.

Some points from me on tonight.

Event television was not tonight. The pacing was slow. Awkwardly cobbled in with live intro segments and focused WAYYY too much on the Holly and Colin crap. There was so much more that happened the last few days and this was not a vibe.
Dot points:
- Great they used the theme more.
- We need the intro titles to separate the previously and the start of the show, they’re shit and short, but at least it’s something?
- That previously on Big Brother should have run as the first segment and been about half the length that it was. It was way too jarring to open with.
- Whoever is on the audio desk, they need to cue the theme properly. I mean in 2001 first episode they knew to start with the main melody of the theme song and then transition into the rest. Tonight you had the melody play after Mel had entered…. Wrong timing and cue. Also the audio levels are horrendous. Put the limiter on!
- Please get Mike to say This is Big Brother Eviction #1 instead of Big Brother Evictions. I’m getting 2012 ptsd.
- Mel is literally the only good thing about these live shows, but the production overall is what lets her down. She’s hardly used on the live episodes and her scripts are awful. We need her interacting more with the crowd and guess what? THE HOUSE
- Mel should at the start of the Eviction show with a cross to the house to check in with the housemates
- Don’t tell the housemates to dress up cocktail. Honestly most of the boys don’t wear clothes and now they are in suits? Stupid.
- I know there is no legal requirement, though it would be good transparency for the audience to show the voting percentages. It’s a simple thing.
- One big thing is that in each of the episodes throughout the week at least once, get Mike to do the voiceover with the voting QR of whos up for eviction on the screen. This only happened once last week. Also emphasise that you’re voting to SAVE.
- Mel also should also in every live show when talking about the voting say “Now remember it’s vote to SAVE”
- I’ve noticed on almost every single show the ending is different. It should be Dreamworld Ender, 10 Production slide and then the Endemol Shine ender. I think I’ve seen that full run ender once. Most just cut on Dreamworld. If it’s a timing issue, reduce the double shot transitions in the daily show footage.
- Sundays IMO you should run full production crew credits on screen with sponsors etc too. I’m surprised they aren’t cracking the shits their brands aren’t shown. Overlay it on live house footage of post eviction, it’s really basic stuff but it’s less blunt ending .
- Get two bar stools for the Mel and Evictee interview. The standing is awkward, or do we honestly have to crowd fund a couch for Mel?
Surely there’s some laying around Dreamworld you can use?

Oh and on the titles BB Crew.... I mean you can just rip this file and run them? 15 clean seconds that emphasises what the show is about?

DID YA GET THAT, BB? 🗣

Also, the way in which Mike Goldman was saying Michael was going to come out to the audience, I was convinced he was going to walk from the back of the set and through the audience up the stairs... but he came through the door... bit odd. Was there any shots of the Fan Pit?

To everyone upset Holly didn't go.

A lot of this is right. Some things I'm not too concerned about, but the general idea of what youre saying is correct.

The thing is, they don't really need to reinvent the wheel from where they are to next season. The only two major things that stick out are 1) a longer season, and 2) I don't really like the house, mostly its specific location within dreamworld but theres a few things with the layout, small backyard (which was always small but looks much smaller this year) and pool thats barely a pool.
