Just did some testing and yeah, VLC does not handle it well. It works much better when opened in a browser.

Yep me too, I've switched to Tiktok steam. It doesn't need a Tiktok account

Is anyone else unable to access the stream on 10 website? No matter what I do it says that an ad blocker is detected (and yes I have disabled my ad blocker and tried other browsers)

The 10 website is a complete mess. I was getting similar errors to you. Try the direct link or Tiktok methods above.
