Hahahahha, I’m fingers and toes crossed that they are getting to the ceilings tomorrow 😳 you know what though? I hate it for the housemates, not for me, we won’t see the exposed ceilings on tv hopefully - but for them it’s giving Neighbours set…

Honestly, it's no different to most other years. We've just never had this close and as high of a quality look at the house before. Previous HMs have always said how cheap and rough the house has been. It is a TV set, after all.

That doesn't bother me as much as how identical to ITV's BBUK this whole series is looking, so I really hope I get proven wrong on Sunday. My cautious optimism is quivering...

It actually does, I agree. Even that eye on the wall the gap in the join at the top of it 🫣 my OCD is going mental in all the small, but actually big problems with the build and touches that aren’t there 😩

I think I’ll just have to watch it on Tv and see how they edit this, because I can’t see it being organic in the fact that you have to frame shots to make sure you don’t get the shed roof in frame. I can’t keep looking cause I just see more issues with it. It’s almost worst than a 7 era build

Yes the 10 and 9 era houses weren’t perfect but this is pretty damn rough. No ceilings… so you’ll be able to bar the echo of someone yelling.
You can actually see ride signs from the yard. The fact cables are just hanging around and not actually hidden in the house. Eh I’ll stop.
 
If they were just going to mimic BBUK, they probably should've purchased the rights to air BBUK on a ~12 hour delay from the UK broadcasts tbh.

Would've cost less.

I’m surprised they didn’t just get the exact UK house plans, considering it’s a flat pack house. Atleast it looks relatively enclosed and less like you’re on stage.

Even with a permanent structure, it'll still likely be the same style build but just in a different shell.
 
A brief glimpse at the new house shows our ceiling / no-ceiling fears have been for naught, a spy-glass style fishtank, and a very BBUK vibe.

TBH I really don't hate it, even though a lot of does scream Channel 7 to me but that might just be the aesthetic look of Big Brother houses now. I feel like the colours are very toned down in comparison to ITV, and I don't hate the LED lights. I recall the channel nine houses were a bit heavy on them as well in some rooms.

I HATE the Diary room tho, like violently want to vomit! Why does it have to look like a mutated hotdog vagina?
 
I'm pleasantly surprised from what we have seen. Obviously very bbuk inspired but it's more than I expected. It looks somewhat cheap but not embarassingly so.
 
I actually don’t mind the house. Hated it at first but the more I look it at i don’t mind it. Love the main living area apart from the pink and yellow kitchen. Hate the orange nook area, too much of a colour explosion. Don’t like the pink and blue walls in the backyard. Bathroom/bedroom/Dr aren’t horrible.
I actually think the colour palette is calmer and more laid back compared to the UK, which is my main issue with the UK house.
