Seeing all of these pics of the house is getting me so excited.
As much as I will miss the rock concert vibe that the channel 10 eviction shows used to give I do accept that the modern television show cannot emulate that, which is a shame but I guess it is what it is. Maybe in time if the show does well and theres enough hype they could potentially upscale to something larger and more permanent looking? Wishful thinking I know but I do long for that. I have faith that Mel will be captivating enough to steer attention to where it is needed and I think this overall does seem promising.
The TV Tonight article was a good read and I feel like this is the most transparent a network has been with the show going into each revival. Nine did pay homage to the older seasons to an above respectful degree but seven were never this honest and open with us. Ten and even Mel here are making us some big promises regarding what they're selling the show to be.
I know it wouldn't happen ever but I wish it were we lived in a world where tv ratings didn't matter and if possible it ran into January and give us a 9-10 week season! I just feel like we waited for this already to get off seven, we've waited so long since Ten's announcement last year and then we have to wait again for a full length season (if that even is the case?!)

Thankfully, they donāt appear to be genuine hints. Itās the same handful of jobs and ages cycled through. I slowed down the video and thereās someone with a job in IT from VIC, SA, WA and NSW, all of them age 21. lol

Yeah the āscrambledā bit means the 3 clues on each slide arenāt related. Took me a while to pick up on that.
I stopped it multiple times and one HM I got was 45 from WA and works a model, as much as I'll love to see a 45-year-old model in the house, I don't think that will be the case
but I am loving how cryptic they are being with the house and housemates, making us wonder, talk and speculate right up to the launch. Very smart campaign. I also have a feeling they do the same tomorrow with the upfronts and again on Saturday, if they do, we are in for a long few days of waiting and more speculating.

As per @the Theorist ās request - here is my take on the stage area weāve seen.
I honestly think this is it. Although, yes, we have seen stages that have been purpose-built just for launch night, those days have truly passed us. Itās financially nonsensical for them to build 2 different stages just for one of them to be decommissioned after just one live show, 10 simply canāt afford to throw cash around like that anymore.
It will look a lot better just after sunset with a bit of depth in lighting to the area. Itās important to remember that these photos of the stage are taken during daylight, however the stage will likely only ever be used at night time where the lighting design and camera angles will bring it to life.
I think the āfan pitā is going to be an area of around 50 people standing, lined up against some kind of barricade bordering the ~10 metre long pathway between the house and stage, where the Burger Bar is.
I donāt think the archways in the stage structure will be used as a ārevolveā effect like in BB08, I think itās just to tie the house design in with the stage design. 10 is emphasising the memo for this season is to modernise the nostalgic DNA of the original era - I can already picture the housemates walking through the eye on Launch Night, with Steadicam Steve meeting them on the other side in the fan-pit, filming their very raw final moments of the outside world, entering the new BB House.
The stage is a bit cute, Iāll give it that. It looks like a BB x Polly Pocket collaboration toy, so teeny tiny itās hard not to call it cute!!
Oh I donāt think anyone was implying that it wouldnāt be used after Launch. Just that this stage might be used exactly like the outdoor stage is utilised on BBUK (Launch night, most of the hostsā address to viewers throughout the season, meeting evictees), with the rest of the action happening elsewhere (also like BBUK). But yes, that area is definitely going to look a lot more schmick on-screen and at night.
I just donāt see how they plan to facilitate interviews and unpredictable weather in the vicinity of what weāre seeing. Iām still convinced thereās an indoor studio, which is potentially what the Live Stage tickets are for. Even if the plan is to mostly be outside, it would be ludicrous to not have a contingency.

I remember in the original BBUK C4 run, Davina would do the eviction interviews from a different set on a sound stage and it actually worked quite well tbh, iirc there are I think 3 or 4 disused buildings surrounding the stage area which could definitely be used for eviction interviews.
Iām more concerned that they possibly havenāt even taken the consequences of an outdoor set into consideration when planning the series out. Thereās something off about this house and set build and I speculate it stems from an original plan for a house possibly falling through and then scrambling to pivot towards a house built in the exhibition centre and whatever space they could use for a stage instead.

Hmm. Like, yeah, maybe.
But as someone who works in an industry where forward planning is an essential key to builds and projects like this, I can almost guarantee no stone is left unturned. The logistics, detail and forethought involved in planning such a thing is pretty critical. Theyāve obviously considered the weather. It would be naive to think otherwise. We have to give them some credit.
