While he's not new to the role, I almost think it'd be wise to go with someone fresh like him as the main voice for this revival.
Agreed. I also think that assuming at least a Leon and Peter duo, a familiar voice from when the show was still running it's original format will be a welcome return and incite a little more nostalgia. We also know they're capable of playing the authoritarian role.

Back to the promos, a new one aired at around 4:40ish this afternoon with Mel saying "This is a cozy little spot, great place to gossip. If only the walls could talk."

The more glimpses of the house we see the more I kinda like the vibe? It doesn’t seem as in your face as ITV and it actually looks good? Idk I’m liking the colour scheme and the design from what we’ve seen.
Agree, I’ve liked it from the start. I’m not really sure what people were expecting for a reality show in 2025. The format and execution of the show itself is way more important to get right to me.

EDIT: I suppose that comment could come across a little contradictory. One might argue that getting the house right (design, camera runs, etc) also goes hand-in-hand with getting the format right. But in this case I think we can find a compromise. Given the treatment of BBAU over the last 17 years, particularly the last 5 years, there are far more vital elements to amend and rectify than the house imo.

Hated the eye at first, however, slowly getting used to it seeing it alive in promos and things. Still would prefer the former eye though. I think they’ve tried to make a modern eye whilst capturing nostalgia, doesn’t work for me tbh though lol.

I think outdoor stage will work well, considering I reckon especially towards mid series there could be a risk getting the numbers to fill auditoriums.

From the little I’ve seen in the promos, I like the house, the square patterning kinda reminds me of 2005-2007 era. Don’t like all the LED strips though, will need to see it in effect to decide.

I don’t even know if it’s been done in the UK, but nominations after a few days feels criminal. I don’t like how it’s on a Wednesday on the first week however, as it makes me think if they’re already willing to go against tradition Mondays, what else are they willing to do.

But look overall, I’m expecting them to get things wrong being their first season in 17 years, so I’m not overly concerned. As long as they can learn from them and deliver a knockout next year.

I think Upfronts next week could be very telling. I see them going ham for the show and potentially announcing a longer, fleshed out series for next year. The short season this year may certainly be a detriment to the typical format. But by focussing Upfronts around the house, Big Brother and their plan for next year, it gets ahead of any naysayers in advance by assuring everyone that this season is a taste before a fully fledged series early 2026. As a result, rather than criticise, people may go into this season with more of an open mind with the knowledge that something bigger is on the way.

Maybe.

As I said here a couple months ago, I think the smartest thing Ten and the show can do is be transparent about their intentions.

Just a thought and sorry if someone’s already raised this….

The teasing of a 24/7 live stream being ‘in our control’ or however they’re teasing it

Why do I get the feeling they will just have fixed cameras and we will be able to switch views? The tik tok live recently of the house being built may have been them testing how they’d make that work ?

It was "you control the house". What you're suggesting doesn't do that in any way, it just changes your experience of it.

This is a different couch from the living room promo. Based on Mel's dialogue, this area could be an equivalent of the snug from current BBUK.

Hoping so. Would be weird to hype the return to 10 like this only to run a 4 week season and then disappear for another 12 months.

Very interesting mix of items in this vid. These items all seem random yet niche enough that I think they could be hinting at references to the HMs…

I wonder if this is a sign of the teaser promos we may get next week.

I'm starting to thing few ads have hinted at housemates:
Gym ad - Bodybuilder or a beery/ Gym junkie of person
Pool ad - Someone outspoken/ blunt or someone out there, different to the other housemates.

If the stage is right outside the house, I hope we get a full house and stage plan/ layout. I have all the house plans from Ten and Nice era (2014 plan isn't the best but best I could find), I'll like to add this one to the collection.

Ok, Mike Goldman is interacting quite a bit with BBs Instagram account. I really do think it’s likely the rumours are true that he’s back as narrator. I’m curious if he’ll have any hosting duties assuming a spinoff is not off the table?

I managed to get 5 tickets in the Fan Pit, i pray it doesnt rain, if so it'll be like 2003 😂

I doubt hosting duties, but definitely narrator. I just can't wait to hear the theme play out then hear Mike go "Live from Dreamworld on the Gold Coast!" I'll get goosebumps 🎉
