Big Brother 2025 starts November 9 (Sunday) on 10

I'm calling it now - the eye/logo animation at the end of these new promos will be the official title card at the end of the opening theme.
 
Seems odd to change the logo now - so close to launch. I wonder what the reasoning is, can’t imagine it’s been planned for a while (otherwise, it would have been done earlier). I think 9 changed the logo in 2012 from what that originally presented, ages before launch.

I think most of us had this suspicion when the shortened series was becoming reality.

I’m still cautiously optimistic. There may be elements from ITV but I’m not convinced they’re going all in, they know a lot is riding on this first season back. To be fair, we also still don’t know a lot. We’re basing most of this comparison off snippets of the aesthetic alone - valid but, again, of which we haven’t seen all of / in full.

100% it was a Channel Ten executive having a freakout and telling production it needs to look more like the old logos so people recognise it.

The "new" eye was first introduced in 2003. The same graphic was actually used for the former 2025 pre-season branding, but the treatment was obviously different.

I guess they needed to overlay the Channel 9 logo on top of it so the Ten executive was extra extra extra ok with it.

I'm also optimistic. We have absolutely seen what we don't want from BBAU which is what channel 7 gave us.
Unfortunately we are naturally not going to get a carbon copy of BBAU's golden years, a lot of time has passed and I think copying that exact format to a T won't translate to 2025.

But, we have seen a lot of green shoots so far in what they are offering so I guess we see how it pans out.

Actually I revise this comment. The pre-season 2025 eye was based off the 2003 eye but there has been more editing than just changing the levels. They probably started as the same graphic though.

Oh totally. But format wise and the show itself, a lot is still yet to revealed. And one way or another, we are still guaranteed to get a version of BB we haven’t had in Australia for 17 years. The live streaming alone is a huge step-up.
 
I just got an ad of Mel in the lounge room “this is where the housemates will learn their fate” or something to that extent

incredibly blue lighting, blue walls with pink accents, and not a single mirror on the wall..

So confirmed that three different house themed promos aired tonight.

Looks like MediaSpy also captured the sheet one, so hopefully we get videos of the first two asap.
