BBAU 2025 house build discussion

Popped by DW today, not too much has developed outside apart from decking that’s started to be constructed.
Can't tell if the pool is still there or if it's been moved in this photo thanks to the angle. Did you take any more?

I think it’s still there??

I think I can see the grey shell behind the foliage and a shadow on the ground next to the famed “blue pole”IMG_3439.jpeg

Not my fault they can’t come through with their “promises” haha.

I’m really interested to see how they manage to build the yard. I kind of hope that maybe what’s being built there is a launch set/enterance? It would make sense to have the entry there and maybe we will have a yard at the other end?

I don’t like the idea of them just decking around the original garden beds lol

The black truss at the back I do wonder if they will form part of the “compound” wall?

Also it does make me wonder how well used their exhibition building is for events etc. . Depending on the deal with DW I think there could be an argument to keep the house up longer term between this season and the next.

If that’s the backyard the fact they are building a raised platform like that, I just worry it’s going to scream tacky 7 house yard.
Looks like the sail has been taken down though
I do wonder now we have seen the arch entrance if they have literally got the “flatpack house” plans from the UK and are literally building that design. Pretty odd it’s a like for like element they have copied.

I hope, I just hope that archway is monochromatic or keeps to a reasonable colour scheme rather than the Lisa Frank monstrosity that ITV managed to concoct from temu-ass furnishings and pinterest boards from 2017

Agree.

My main hope is that for the second season they build a proper compound in the empty area below the current setup.

I wouldn't have been offended if they did a standard rectangular hallway. I'm sure this has something to do with blocking access to the other glass doors that appear there.

Very interested in this missing house update from BB himself.

I think the arched hallway runs to the bedroom/diary room. In this current series, just the diary room. Praying it's an original design and that, like you said, a purpose built compound is in the cards.

Long-time lurker, first-time poster!

I’m a local with pretty extensive knowledge of the parks (especially Dreamworld) . I’m there a few times a week and a huge BB fan. Thought I’d finally throw a theory out there, along with some maps for anyone not too familiar with the layout.

The BB house backyard sits right on the fence line with WhiteWater World, in the spot that used to be an old guest entry from Dreamworld. These days it’s just an unused smoking area with a pathway running through it.

Now, inside WWW there’s an area called The Shell. It’s very similar in style to the old outdoor auditorium. In recent years it’s been used as a picnic/seating space, but this season it’s been completely closed off. Just last week it was cleared out and work started inside which makes me think it could be prepped as a potential eviction area, especially if they’re looking to bring back the live audience format.

On the map I’ve marked in pink a possible path: housemates could exit via the “backyard tunnel,” just like in earlier seasons, and then be transported straight down to The Shell with the crowd waiting.

Also the house is being built extremely close to an active attraction Tailspin — which isn’t even scheduled for maintenance during filming. From that ride, guests will literally be able to see straight into the backyard.
