Even with 7s version of BB, The filming dates were October - November/December. I realise pre-recorded and live are a little different, but it doesn’t mean to say 10s version couldnt follow suit.

I really hope it's mid October to mid December, that at least gets it to 8 weeks. I do wish they would just push it into next year though, I think a lot of fans will complain that it's very rushed. Surely Endemol would have locked in a several year contract?

Yeah I really hope they can pull it forward and make it a bit longer. I guess more info will be
available very soon.

I will just say Peter Abbott is retired and pushing his 70’s, it’s a lot of work to expect someone at that age to do..

I think he's a very switched on individual, granted we've not seen him on TV since 2014.

Also note that his son, Tim, also posted a story back in 2024 when the original teaser was released, discussing the return of BB and how he would always travel up to the GC with his dad.

Maybe he's just returning as an assistant producer, or just helping with the casting, but I would hope he's involved at some sort of level.
