oh yeah of course I forgot about filming for the next season!
I doubt all the countries involved will buy the rights to air it in real time though so fans will get ruined by spoilers. Casuals will be happy to wait til it airs in thier country.

you are assuming all counties will buy it or have access to it through a streaming service. I have serious doubt the countries outside of US (South Africa, Finland, New Zealand, and Canada) have this high on the priorities to purchase, especially if Survivor is not big in their country. The only Survivor on TVNZ+ in NZ is Survivor UK. I am pretty sure NZ usually plays Masterchef Australia on about a 1-2 week delay (or more).

Nz has the rights on paramount+ I believe. And on Amazon prime all seasons of survivor Australia are available
It airs months later in the UK. Most the world cares about US Survivor as much as they care about the Superbowl. Not at all.

NZ definitely doesn't have the rights on Paramount Plus....PP have never launched in NZ. Maybe Paramount have the rights but we can't access any US Survivor legally ATM and haven't since before COVID.

I must’ve misread what I was reading, cause it said someone has the rights to show the Aussie version in New Zealand.. it’s shown (Aussie version) on tvnz though isn’t it? And I believe the US version is shown as well on tv3

I watch very painfully on the cbs site with a vpn but it crashes at least 40 times an episode. If it gets too bad or if it is a season I am going to watch again I just pirate it. Which is why I am saying it would behoove 10 just to make it available to anyone who wants to watch to because fans in countries like NZ are used to having to pirate survivor to watch anyway.
You could believe people that actually are on here and live in New Zealand, and know what they have access to, such as myself and Hunter, or what you read on wikipedia. That is up to you.

I didn’t read it on Wikipedia..
I read something where people were complaining that bvb II was removed from tvnz+ immediately after the finale was aired in Australia.
I also read you could legally watch recent seasons of survivor US on tv3.
It’ll be interesting to see what happens to tv3 now that Sky has purchased it.
