I mean you’re entitled to that opinion but I honestly think a new era with a new host should also include a new narrator.

Starting with a clean slate and having this serve as a reintroduction to the format rather than a continuation is really going to go a long way not only in terms of letting go of the past (we all know what I’m referring to) but in terms of finding a core audience beyond the hardcore loyalists (whether they be new or returning).

oh sure, it's not like I'll cry if he doesn't come back. It's just that it'll give the show the "classic Channel 10 BBAU" feel if he does. A lot of us are a bit nostalgic about it, and I don't think new viewers would care if it's him or anyone else.
 
I feel there needs to be some level of through-line / continuity / familiarity for those older or previously-lapsed viewers. Maybe Mike Goldman hosts a return of Uplate?

While there was some level of je-ne-sais-quoi about Leon Murray's voice that never sold me on him as BB, his inclusion in the 9 reboot (as well as MG's return as narrator) did help link it to Ten's 2008 season.

If there must be a through-line does it need to be direct? As for the Nine era a certain “je-ne-sais-quoi” was their fucking through-line. I’d also say that there’s a pretty significant difference between trying to reinvent the wheel and a legitimate fresh start. This is really where it all went pear shaped with ITV’s BB. The best parts for me were fairly simple. Also speaking of Leon Murray I actually think he’d make for a great MG replacement and would make for an interesting but not so obvious through-line for those longing for one.

Thanks for your kind offer if you only knew how many hours I have spent in on upscaling and enhanceing these files, it would run into hundreds of hours not to mention the power bill on the i912900 PC and the cost of the yearly subscription of Topaz Video AI and also the monthy subscription of CapCut I have been sitting on all these files for years, I will be 70 next month I don't know how many more year I will be around so grab them while you can.

I think the addition of Leon as BB would be the perfect nod to the past without totally reliving the past. To be honest as long as BB is a real voice and not an AI generated voice I will be happy though.
 
I just want a real voice and a real person speaking to the housemates, I liked Leon’s approach on BB8 and he made big brother a bit more approachable and funnier which was a nice transition from the monsterous deep voice from bb04-07.

Ultimately Peter Abbott communicated with the housemates the best, I’d love when he’d mess up his line and snicker as quietly as possible then restart
