Not that I want to wish mental health issues on anyone because I don't, but I am not sure how else to say this. At this stage if it turned out to be marketing for something then he has gone too far and he, and whatever he is marketing for, are going to get backlash for it.
Perhaps he's gone back on some meds.Reading his most recent post he is saying it was a prank I think... if so as I said above not so funny. If it is all a cry for help I hope he gets it.
Surprised he didn't go for "I was hacked!".Reading his most recent post he is saying it was a prank I think... if so as I said above not so funny. If it is all a cry for help I hope he gets it.

It is a sad fact that a lot of gay men like us, despite their often very outgoing personalities, are hiding serious mental health struggles deep down inside. As someone who’s struggled a bit with mental health I think it’s pretty obvious he’s going through it. In hindsight some of my most unhinged and problematic moments on this forum were tied to poor mental health.

Honestly, as an autistic person, i think these type of comments (where the neurodivergent community seeks to distance themself as far as possible from any of their own publicly acting in ways seen as problematic) are really cruel, as they lack both common sense (sometimes autism is the reason behind some of these behaviors now) and compassion (as some of us me included once showed problematic behaviors when we were younger). His need to insist that it’s a normal autistic response makes me feel uncomfortable as a neurodivergent person. It sends the wrong message about what autism looks like to neurotypical people, autism looks different in everyone and I’m afraid his behaviour at the moment aligns more with psychosis than it does with neurodivergence

I don’t know how really but I stumbled onto his twitter - I don’t follow anything on twitter officially but I was mucking around reading stuff about Trump … anyway somehow got on to Tim’s and immediately thought drugs/psychosis/mania. Yikes. Hope he’s ok.It is the difficult thing about Tim - I am conflicted because part of my brain is thinking is this just Tim being Tim and doing some big brain game play, and then the other part is genuinely concerned for his mental health and whether BB being relaunched has triggered something for him.

It was then news of 10 picking up BB again that set him off.what sent Tim spiraling downhill?

Because literally anything can set off mental health issues.why of all things would that set him off?
From memory there was a lot of ranting about them not paying him on time, and a sense that he'd been used and abused by 10 and also by the BB machine (my words). The BB announcement appears to have brought his internal rage to the fore.It should be noted that the timing suggests that is what triggered it. I don't think we have any confirmation on that though. As Kingston said it could quite literally be anything.

Being famous is not always easy, and both the sports and entertainment industries can and do use and abuse their players and talent. From memory there was a lot of ranting about them not paying him on time, and a sense that he'd been used and abused by 10 and also by the BB machine (my words). It's like he has some kind of delayed PTSD from his experience. He obviously didn't have an issue being in the show twice in Australia and also in Canada.Being famous is not always easy, and both the sports and entertainment industries can use and abuse their players and talent.

This and I got the sense that he was asking for support and either wasn’t getting it or being told it couldn’t be done. I feel for him in that regard feeling like you’re stuck in an endless feedback loop, yelling, screaming for your needs to be addressed only to be shut down and/or shuffled around. From memory there was a lot of ranting about them not paying him on time, and a sense that he'd been used and abused by 10 and also by the BB machine (my words). Been through it myself with work and trying to find a doctor/mental health practitioner that would acknowledge the help I needed/put a plan in place to address things. Spent the better part of a few years simply being told I need to see a therapist and that was all I could do. It ended up just making things worse than if I’d just kept my mouth shut.
I’d also say that there seems to be this notion that when it comes to mental health that if something can’t be solved through medication and/or therapy that if a patient asks for anything else they must be trying to manipulate the situation/trying to dictate their treatment.
I actually had a psychiatrist tell me that if she were to have diagnosed me with something that it meant I couldn’t be trusted and would have no say in what her recommended treatment would be
