Survivor 47 (Forty Several) starts this week in USA. 18 players - this season there is a high concentration of people with experience in talking - broadcasting sportscasting and podcasting. People of note are Jon Lovett, who has a political podcast, and Aysha Welsh, a podcaster on Rob has a podcast. Pre season interviews show Aysha was recognised by at least two other players before the game started.

Episode 1 is now on CBS - I see it is on Channel 9 tonight so I won't put any spoilers on here. Sorry Meglos is missing this season :(

Andy and Teeny are both RHAP patrons so would be the closest to having the equivalent from this forum on BB.

I really want to get back into this, but I can't.
They've well and truly fucked it.
Let me know if it's worth watching and I'll binge it in a few weeks if the feedback is good.

Stupid move not voting out the loose cannon...
yeah the only thing I can think of is that they saw that voting out jelinksy first last season was a problem due to lack of strength for the team (not knowing that Kenzie still won anyway)

My pre-season vibes is that they are a lot more positive and less of a hot mess than 46 but whether that will be the case is yet to be seen. I will let you know if it is worth watching a few weeks :)

Impossible, this was filmed a year ago, before Season 46 aired...

Nope was filmed in May/June. The last episode they saw was the Tiffany boot. So they know some of how many idols were not played last season. They know about Q - They saw that Liz was pissed. Rachel was the alternate for Season 46.

Episode Two Summary -
There was a Teeny tiny trust issue with an idol
He who hesitates may not always lose because of it (time will tell on that)
Bro talking next to people bro, who are trying to sleep, bro, might lead to torch snuffing, bro.

I was actually very happy to see this particular booting :D

Episode Three Summary:

Rome, Rome, Rome, Rome, Rome, Rome, ........ I am getting sick of these egos on legs hogging all the camera time.
The vote went an unexpected and frustrating way, as it will just lead to more of the above.
Seriously who is Genevieve?

I must admit, seeing Annika's meltdown after being voted out was a thing of great beauty 💪🤣
The blindsides this season have been good but that was an amazing reaction.

This season so far a big improvement on last season to me. And re my post above we now know who Genevieve is :)

My top 4 picks at the moment are Teeny, Gabe, Andy, and Sam.

This week was definitely the Rome show! Production loves that guy! I get that he must make for interesting content but there was just too much of him. I would find him overwhelming to be living on an island with! It will be a relief to see what an episode without him in is like - who has had a quiet edit pre-merge that we will see now? Tiyana, Kyle, Caroline, Sol, Rachel?

Woohoo! More Sol, More Caroline, More Rachel and More Tiana this week! You know when there is still 20 mins of the episode to go when they go to tribal its going to be interesting :)

This, in my opinion, is shaping up to be one of the best seasons in the new era, if not the best.

Yeah I have always thought 45 was over-rated. the final 4 was meh and everyone just let them get there. I liked a couple of people on the season and some of the editing choices were good.

46 is a Gabon season - at the moment it is not really doing anything for me, but in time maybe I will look back more fondly on it.

Another fantastic tribal council and another blindside.

I don't understand why Rachel would use her Shot in the Dark when she had an idol though. Could it be that she was well aware of what the plan was (i.e. either Sam or Ciara) and didn't want the survivor of the vote to turn against her later, so it was her way of abstaining from the vote?
