Big Brother back in 2025 on 10! AND LIVE!

  • Initial
    two-series
    commitment.
  • Location commitment is looking likely for
    Docklands
. Carriageworks (Eveleigh) returned a strong RFI but permits and access were key risks.
    QLD is off the table.
  • The brand identity
will change but will remain somewhat faithful to the original Ten livery.
  • Still very early days in terms of format development, but they're paying very close attention to what worked way back, what has worked more recently, fan response, and modern audience trends.
  • Prize
will be $1M minimum, but there's talk of it being (much) more, however that would be dependent on sponsor support.
They want (need) it to be genuine event television, which means having stakes worth committing to (for contestants and audiences).

ZOMG the one day I don't check in here in the morning and I miss this news. I finally look at New Posts and see the title of this thread and roll my eyes, before realising there are >80 replies. It's not 1 April is it??

Sucks so bad that Meglos won’t see this or be a part of this 😢

Honestly this was also one of the first things I thought as well, won't be the same without Meglos :(

Aside from that, it's like all our dreams come true that it finally returns to 10 after the terrible treatment it received from Nine and Seven. They seem to be at pains to say it will be the old school, REAL Big Brother we knew and loved. If they can make this woork, it could be the shot in the arm 10 really needs. I really hope they can pull it off. Huzzah!

…OH…… MY……. GIDDY……. AUNT!… I had a mental orgasm when I heard this!… magnificent!… Mel Tracina hosting this is brilliant… she eats breathes and shits every TV reality show on TV… she’s perfect for the role… I love her on ‘The Cheap Seats’… she’s great at ad-lib and has a great sense of humour too… if Peter Abbott is on board that will be great… Mike Goldman is a must… he’s great fun… live streams too!… I’d even pay for that if I had to… Gretal having guest appearances now and then would be a nice tribute…

…I do hope that they do it how they originally did in it’s beginning… that was when it was fun to watch… we used to praise the shows then instead of always ripping the shit out of it when it was on 7 and 9… and… the best part… NO MORE OF THE RACIST BITCH SONYA!… Mel’s youth will pump a new energy into the show… which it needs… I’m so excited about this!… (please leave out any ‘influencers’ or people in ‘agencies’ that are trying to further their ‘careers’ in TV please… how about having completely ‘normal’ nobodies for a change?… and finally… PLEASE DON’T BRING BACK SURLY!… cheers.

The only location in Docklands that could work would be docklands studios. However your weather in September / October would be questionable at best. Eviction would have to be in one of the other sound stages too.

Also what season was filmed at Carriage Works? I don’t remember any of the ch7 seasons being done there?

This forum hasn't seen this much action in a long time! I am actually excited about BB for the first time in over a decade!

Not gonna lie tho I’m still nervous in terms of supporting data and this working out with Tens expectations. I’m not well versed with key indicators nowadays but one things for sure is the old format was absolutely shithouse. So will surely do better at least.
