I hope so too...but I'm sure she's a good cook as well.I hope she didn't only win because of the "I lost my mum" thing!

it is a bit of a head scratcherI did find it a bit strange though that she didn't know what to do with the chives for most of the cook and then used them in only one of her seven (?) dishes? But the judges thought it was 'innovative'?

As the entire editing last night focused on one contestant, it was pretty obvious who they were going to bring back into the competition.
I was wondering, where on earth Stephen was? Obviously, he was either sick that day, or he didn't want to get a 2nd chance.
Anyway, my preferred final 3 would be Nat, Harry and the Butcher from Tassie.

According to some online sources posted on reddit Steve was unable to be there due to his mum being in hospital.

That's quite understandable, family and real life is more important than some reality show.
Is it just me who is underwhelmed by this season so far? I mean, I have watched Masterchef religiously since the first season with Gary/Matt/George, but it's looking tired to me this year. I feel like the format needs a shakeup in 2025, they need to do something different.

February
I think, therefore I am, I think ...
I'm enjoying it, but I must admit, it's easy to watch while texting! That's quite understandable, family and real life is more important than some reality show.

I'm still enjoying it...it's like a comfy old pair of slippers imo. However, I think there is one judge too many and that's either what's-her-name (no disrespect intended, I truly do not remember her name) or JC...probably what's-her-name...I think she tries too hard. Poh is a natural though and I'm loving her! That's quite understandable, family and real life is more important than some reality show.

Neither, when Carrie left I didn’t see a reason to keep watching. I remember watching it once not long ago and Waleed Ally speak about HECS and he was completely just wrong. It made me furious as a uni student lol.Used to love it but I haven't watched it for years now.
