I'm not sure about this dish...on the one hand I'd like to try it but it is teenie weenie! My hubby and boys would ask where the rest of it was! It would be an ok serving for me though as I don't eat much...just drink a lot! Haha!

That reminds me of a meal my other half and I went to years ago for his birthday. We had a couple of drinks before we went , my dish was the size of a match box, everything was so small, the wine took over (nice way of putting it) I was all over the place!

Haha! Hubby and I went to a prominent Melbourne restaurant some years ago...hubby decided to restrict his eating during the day to prepare for a BIG dinner! We ordered prawns for entree...there was one! We then ordered a veal cutlet for main...yes, there was one...with three tiny dutch carrots and about five peas! We ordered a medley of chocolate thingys for dessert...wouldn't have fed a sparrow! I must say that everything was delicious though. Hubby went back to our room and attacked the mini bar! Cost a bloody fortune!

Its insane, isnt it. We've been caught out now too many times.
We did fine dining in our 30's when we dressed up to go, and had a special experience, then celebrity dining came in, big plates, tiny portions, and fine dining as it was disappeared.
Now back to.local good cafes/restaurants/recipes, home cooking!
