BBUS 23 (includes live feed and episode spoilers)

Maybe the Cookout deserve more credit for how much they've got the game under control but the three powers turned out not to be disruptive at all. Claire is playing Tiffany's game for her, and taking out her own shot of being HoH next week, whilst Alyssa and Sarah Beth are just as oblivious to how Xavier and Kyland are controlling their fate. Ultimately they got to this stage where anyone winning any kind of power is almost irrelevant.

I would guess they'll be some kind of endurance comp this week as they'll need it for the Sunday show, plus Claire has to "throw" the comp to maintain her secret role as HoH which maked her inelligible next week, although would love to see them mess it up somehow so she ends up winning as all the others slip up before she has chance to throw it.

We then know it'll be a single the next week (9/9) followed by the badly timed triple the following week (16/9). There is also a show on the 17th due to the Emmys airing on the Sunday, with the F4 eviction on the 23rd and the finale on the 29th. If they've any sense they'd bring forward one of those evictions from the triple a week to give us a week of final 6 action, even if they then did the triple as planned the following week but add a battle back competition with those three to take the numbers back up to 4.

They really should just do the triple this week to speed up the inevitable Sarah Beth/Alyssa/Claire slaughter and then let the real game begin. We don't need Battle Back for a while, if not possibly ever again. It was so tiring to watch it happen at the same exact spot every season.

Looks like the theory about a triple eviction was wrong. The next two Thursday episodes are double evictions... Wonder if they changed it because of the Cookout and not wanting to lose out on the gameplay if they make it to the top six - which is highly likely to happen now unless Claire or Alyssa (depending who doesn't go first) wins HoH or the Veto before the second eviction next week.

-That episode was pretty funny
-Derek F is absolutely evoting on purpose
-ALYSSA VS. THE COOKOUT was more like Alyssa vs. the end credits and she lost
-Two double evictions instead of a triple

Have to credit producers if they have changed the planned triple into two doubles - absolutely the right thing to do.

Hopefully with the second one with them having two hours they do it a bit differently and play out the first eviction as normal and HoH, then seemingly sign off for the night before coming back to them a few minutes later and springing the nominations on them.

Next Thursday's episode is still only scheduled to be an hour long, so will be interesting to see how they manage to cram a double eviction in it.

1 hour was the standard across the board in the early to mid years. The premiere, finale, double evictions, everything was 1 hour, if they could manage then I’m sure they’ll get through it.

Double evictions have always been done in hour long shows - they only got the extra hour for the triple last year.

Things are gonna get messy. The plan was for Alyssa to go this week, but she's gone and won the veto so given she is likely to take herself off - Tiffany is going to have to put Claire up... Where's my popcorn? 😂

So it was 34C in LA today… Hopefully they’ve made some improvements to the costume since then.

So seems Tiffany will remain loyal to the Cookout and the plan is to tell Claire shes going up to ensure Xavier goes as she thinks against anyone else he would stay (right, against Derek F, Azar?)

Tiffany seemingly playing for 6th place though with that move and after how both Kyland and Xavier have acted on the block next to their partner. I'd be tempted to put them both on the block in her shoes but actually Derek F might be the smart move - sell it to the rest of the Cookout that they have the option to get rid of the strongest or weakest member of the alliance, and that if any of them are sitting next to Derek F once they get down to six they are probably going home. It probably means Tiffany and Claire on the block next week but she can then swing back to being 100% loyal to the Cookout.

Claire is an incredible human, her DR at the end of the show about how she gets what Tiffany needs to do was so nice to see. The edit of Xavier being the hero and Tiffany being "selfish" is just not it.

Claire came across really well. Xavier not so much - indeed him and Kyland are acting at times in a similar manner to the douchebags of previous series when it comes to their attitude towards the rest of the alliance.

I think ideally tonight one of the Cookout win HoH and Allysa wins Veto again just forcing the line to be drawn live on air. Depends who wins but Tiffany may get a chance to test her friendship with Claire sooner than they thought.

They do though need to give Claire enough time with the jury to fill them in and let them piece the final puzzle pieces together before sending in the second evictee. What will be interesting is once the Cookout do start making jury whether they do reveal all about the alliance or keep up the pretence it doesn't exist.
