THE VIRUS 2020 - the good, the bad, and the ugly

This was pretty much my thought process. When it started getting pretty clear that Sydney's a lost cause I toyed with going to see my GP to get the go ahead to get AZ but they don't do the actual jab there and as lazy as it seems I couldn't be arsed seeing the doc then having to find somewhere to book into. That plus the fact Pfizer was coming soon and has a shorter wait between jabs I was like odds are I'll be double jabbed sooner anyway if I wait. And sure enough I will be. In fact I'll be double jabbed before my mum who got AZ in June. Ha!
Its bizarre how in the same state they act so differently. I had almost 30 questions asked to me about my preference to to family history and finally I also got to ask as many questions as I wanted before they made the decision on what vaccine to suggest I take. Yet your experience seemed somewhat predetermined. I wonder if it was aged based or the type of vaccine stocks they had?

If everything isn't opened up by the time the eighty percent target is met, then I suspect that Australia, especially Melbourne and Sydney, will see riots that they have never seen before in their lives. Buildings will be burned, blood will be spilt, and this country will be plunged into an awful civil war.

Had my first experience of being at a bunnings today and seeing a person walking around with his mask around his chin. I just don't understand why you would bother putting it on at all if you are not going to wear it properly. He had a look that he was just waiting for someone to say something to him so he could start a fight with them.

Probably was. Did he have his phone in his hand, ready to record his Karen moment?

Had a similar experience with an "exposed nose" mask wearer earlier this year. Twice the size of me. I stared at him from about 20 feet away, and to my surprise he properly adjusted the mask after about 10 seconds. 🤔 :conf: 😀

I didn't look that hard - I got the feeling even looking at him was going to be cause enough to get him started!

Colour me surprised… Didn’t think this forum was so judgemental 🙄🙄🙄
lol I wouldn't have said anything to him anyway he was the one shooting a try me bitch look at me. As I said I just don't see the point in even bothering to dirty a mask if you are going to wear it literally on your chin - not even touching yor nose or mouth. I think I would have noticed less if he was not wearing a mask at all.

Tbh, one thing this pandemic taught me is that I don’t care what other people do.

Lots of people out there who judge others for their actions or their inaction. Kind of sick of the judgemental attitude and the superiority complex that people experience during this pandemic.

I guess I'm fortunate in that respect as I live on a mountain range about an hours drive from the nearest town. There is about 100 people scattered about up here and we don't wear masks, I suppose because we don't have any shops .. & I guess because there's no police either to enforce any rules..:)

There seems to be people on this forum who feel the need to judge others for making observations. Kind of sick of the judgemental attitude and the superiority complex that some people are showing towards others for merely making observations of the world around them anymore.
