THE VIRUS 2020 - the good, the bad, and the ugly

Booo bigoted Credlin!
Boo dole bludgers that are okay with taking public money but don't have any compassion for taxpayers who might lose their businesses and jobs.

And you don't even watch the Credlin videos. If you're going to call someone bigoted you should back it up. It's a big claim to make.

* The ABC has someone with liberal views as the head. Don’t think it’s as left-wing as the right like to claim.

* The Project is hardly left wing. Peter Van Onselen... enough said. (and then there’s Steve Price).

ABC is as left wing as they come. QandA, Insiders, Media Watch just to name a few. Terrible network. They should be defunded.

Especially on QandA where the panellists take any opportunity they have to attack a conservative commentator and get applause by their left wing audience. It is disgusting to see.

Peter Van Onselen? Wtf… He is the most left wing guy on the show. Takes jabs and attacks at the Federal Government every chance he gets on Twitter and does not comment on incompetent ALP run governments.

Like I said, I'm not a very nice person. I'm like UN nice.

I think it's rare to find any media that is 100% objective. Why are you singling out right-wing media? If you were against bias then maybe you'd look at both sides. I'd consider you just as partisan if you're not willing to do that.
Right-wing media seems to be the loudest in the Australian media these days in my opinion.

From talking with people I have come into contact with I find so many people have access to Sky News and are just repeating the same views they hear even if it’s unfactual and untrue.

Even my grandfather who used to be a fully fledged labour supporter leans to the extreme right now after listening to talkback radio.

Right-wing media is an epidemic in Australia. It’s frightening what some people are believing.

Seems like you're just singling out right-wing media because it doesn't align with your own political partisanship. A right-wing person could do the reverse and make similar comments about left-wing media in this country.

Yet most people don’t have access to Sky News… I think you are just associating with people who have right winged views.

Australia is left leaning. This is evidenced by the ease that ALP have in state elections and the closeness of the Federal elections. So I doubt any media programming is doing anything of significance that ensures that Australia is right leaning.

Do you think I could post five posts or less a day on this forum?

Just because he is good friends with Christian Porter does not make him liberal. I see him sticking up for his friend but other than that, he is not liberal at all. He is as left wing as they come.

I said you should back up your claim. At least use some of your own words. Just posting a link to an article on a mistake she apologised for is not enough.
She only apologised because she was forced to.

This is the kind of misleading views on Sky News that is the problem.

Rumours… So not really fact. Lol

If you say so. I watch that show sometimes and I hate him so much due to his left leaning bias. Unwatchable. I switch off whenever him or Carrie are on now.

True it isn’t my political partisanship but what happens when Murdoch owns a majority of newspapers, online and TV networks? You get a problem with bias and the general public get their views influenced by the media they are consuming.

Look at Donald Trump’s popularity and the rise of the far right movement. It isn’t an coincidence right-wing media has had a surge in the last decade. And in my opinion epidemic proportions.

newspapers have been on the decline for many years, Sky doesn't have a big viewership and there are thousands of websites people can get news from with a variety of different views. I think you're overestimating the Murdoch influence. The general public is not forced to watch or read any media they don't want to. We live in a free country and people can make decisions for themselves.

They are not forced but when it’s the easiest way to consume media do they really have a choice?

Again brainwashing.

Lol the Murdoch influence is huge in Australia. Only a troll or a brainwashed fool would say otherwise.
