They were, but I feel like a reaction like that's pretty warranted. They pretty much had the game in the bag, and now they have 3 people gunning for them. I'd be pretty upset myself too.

You don't seem to understand the difference between opinion/bias and fact.
Well not really, because behaviour like that can sway The viewing (voting) public. People who *may* have thought someone was great, then see a side of them that isn‘t... favourable... it can change peoples minds. So in these types of reality shows you always want to come out looking good to the public, no matter what situation is thrown at you.
