Yes, I have put Ian as a F3 cert as of yesterday's ep. He's not going to get on anyone's nominee list, because he's a quiet, likeable, inoffensive, under-the-radar type.so far it feels like they’re setting up Daniel, Kieran, and Ian as their “winners”

It’s because the cast they have was so boring they have had to manipulate it to create drama as well as contrive drama within the house because those natural relationships weren’t developing. To disastrous effect, some might say. They have gotten a bit high on narrative.
They definitely went pre recorded because it’s cheaper. Hopefully next year they will throw more money at the show now they know it’s working and has an audience maybe we will get more live elements. Who knows
For those who might find this interesting my rough breakdown of the first two weeks. Not in the table is the fact we usually get about four minutes of "interaction" before the task. I've just put it all in the same cell.
EDIT: And any arrivals were covered in "task" for the first three eps.

Ha! I'd love to do a more thorough breakdown like what the longest conversation has been and how much time is spent in the diary room. But that might be a weekend activity.@Consuela That must've taken a bit of effort! Perhaps there could also be a leader board of how many wardrobe changes occurred in the middle of a narrative for each episode (...only half joking )

It's worked for 20 years in the US live, and this is an even simpler version. The biggest problem though is the consecutive night scheduling on Seven, especially if they can only do Sun-Wed. (Do Seven have AFL on Thursdays?)How exactly would you make the new format work 'live'?
The easiest way is to have evictions at the end of the week (so Wed) but that doesn't feel right for Australia. There are currently 4 components to the show though that could be the centrepiece of each night - the shopping task, the nominations challenge, the nominations and the live eviction.

Also implementing public voting in a way that encourages viewers to play along at home...

Channel 7 have AFL and cricket on most Fridays and Saturdays as well as on many Thursdays and Sundays. Dont forget the many sports spin off shows which also air during the Thursday to Sunday sports block.
Channel 7 even said they need a strong show to fill in the non sports Monday to Wednesday prime time evenings and a well done BB is just what the doctor ordered.

7 usually have the football on 7mate don't they?
Have you been living under a rock mate? 7 have the football on their main channel live during prime time!

Never again

I think they have it on 7mate on the gold coast.
