I love dancing
Time to start lessons again
Oh me too.
Looking to get some Jive and Salsa lessons.
...watching this show and being confined to wheelchair at the moment... I feel so inspired to get up and shake my booty again... cheers.

I think I saw you!
You might have, I was right next to the staircase in Constance’s second dance I can be seen laughing when she’s being introduced!

Courtney deserved to win a dancing show.
People get sucked in by backstory. Yes, Samuel is a very nice (overly) sensitive man who is doing a lovely thing in honour of his sister, but if you want to support that, donate to his charity as he suggested. The judges upscaled his scores to get the feelgood result the producers wanted.

I knew it was going to happen but I am still very disappointed.
100% agree with this. I felt the producers did everything in their power to get the result they wanted. Nothing against Samuel but when a show pushes someone so hard to win it leaves a sour feeling on the show for me. Not that they would care about one viewer losing any respect for the show and potentially couldn't be bothered watching next season.
At least the winners charity will help a lot of people going through cancer. A lot of good will hopefully be done.

Oh please.. Come on now.
The final 2 both had their backstories shown throughout the season heavily in comparison to the other contestants. Totally unfair.
It is kind of hypocritical to say that Sam had a backstory throughout the show and Courtney didn't.
Everyone has backstories, but I feel Sam's was more of a "sob story" (and I'm not saying that in a bad way, it's just that his was by far the most emotional story, which is what people latch onto). Courtney's story about struggling to be accepted and Constance's about raising 7 kids were never going to hit as many people in the feels as Samuel's was (though of course both gained them fans, and I now love Constance, which I didn't when she was on Big Brother).
@Meglos I wanted to say sob story about Sam, but was scared.
Sam's story was a sob story & that's what people want.
Yes his life has be horrific (deaths of loved ones, but not many people know in 2007 he king hit someone.)

In September 2007, he was involved in a bar brawl at Star City Casino in Sydeny.. While attending a wedding with his girlfriend Hallam, he was involved in an altercation with another guest, Ben Benson. Johnson had repeatedly punched Benson before stomping on his head as he lay prone on the floor. The court was told that at the time of the offence Johnson was receiving treatment for depression following the suicide of his long-term partner Lainie Woodlands. Upon leaving the court, Johnson was completely remorseful for his actions, stating, "I am very sorry it all happened, I was a bit of a nincompoop and I'm glad that it's all over. I'm looking forward to moving on". He was given a 12-month good behaviour bond, with Johnson to continue with his counselling, and no conviction was reported.
Or google Samuel Johnson Ben Benson & read other sites about it.
IMO: There is no excuse for stomping on someone's head when they are on the ground.

Oh I didn't mean to say Courtney didn't have a backstory and we didn't get to hear about that. I just felt more people were rooting for Samuel for his. And he won rather on that than his Dancing ability.

Wow, didn't know about that incident.
Bits of his backstory hinted at a troubled past (like Claudia Karvan helping him with depression) but it didn't cross my mind that violence was involved. It's not really something you can cover by saying you were a "nincompoop".
