Would it have been funny if the strategically placed local man had let the Canadian get swept up the river? No? Just me then.
 
It was satisfying that Ali dumped Michael as well as Mack. She stuck to her promise that she wasn't going to lead anyone on, which they don't all do. And now Michael has time to scramble, he could probably get Keira or Laurina to give him a rose. Mack is dead in the water regardless.
 
it was like the intruders became a light bulb moment for all the women there that they all didn't all have to stick to the one person in there, that they could branch out their options.

the power of ali's charm. she didn't do a thing yet she still had three guys chasing after her like a bunch of puppy dogs. it was good that she recognised her own power during this episode and shut both boys down.
