I think they are following the US version who seem to pull this trick about once every season.

...ha!... like the USA versions of the show are a good model to follow?... what a bunch of idiots!... Australia always IMPROVES on the American versions of shows they steal so why go backwards by imitating them?... the bloody nuff nuffs!... cheers.

I disagree. I prefer the US version to be honest. Probably because they cast better men as the leads.
 
...all of the advertising for the show indicated that we would be seeing the result TONIGHT... what a bunch of lowlife's... that is so insulting to us as viewers... it's like that old joke... "how do you keep an idiot in suspense?"... cheers.
 
This is beyond calling shenanigans. This is a fucking INSULT to the people stupid enough to watch this trash in the hope there may be some ray of hope amongst this pile of shit. At least give us the result hinted at in the promos. THIS IS NOT OKAY.

Not even sure I'll continue to watch if this is how it's going to play out.
