Totally brilliant episode tonight. Capaldi and Bill are magical, and it was nice to see Nardole with more to do.

So excited to see Missy in the next time trailer, and I agree that it pretty much confirms it won't be her in the vault.

Enjoyable Whovians, but I didn't like the male politician, it was better after he left, the lady politician was more suitable. Bajo is still a bit of a waste of time, but Tegan is fantastic.

The Doctor's reaction to his wrecked sonic was a classic moment. Once again hats off to Capaldi.

Whovians brought up how useful it is having Nardol as the comic relief. "Some of my best friends are blueish" is such a great line, but too silly for either the Doctor or Bill to say.

...I've just watched the latest episode for the 2nd time and I must say from the outset... this episode was almost totally perfect for me in the way that it was so Doctor Whoish... I so loved this episode... in particular Pearl Mackie's Bill... she showed such a vast range of emotions this week... her being scared shitless on a couple of occasions showed that she is so vulnerable on the inside despite her self confidence on the outside... more of that later... now the episode itself...

..."Space... the final frontier... final because... it wants to kill us!"... bwahahahaha!... what a brilliant way to start an episode with such a homage to Star Trek!... I absolutely loved it lol!... (yes... I'm a sad sack of beans... yes... I'm a 'Trekkie' too lol!)... I just loved the 'darkness' of Space at the beginning which complimented how Peter Capaldi described Space as a 'void' just before... that woman telling her boyfriend or husband that she wanted to have a baby with him while he couldn't hear what she was saying was setting up her impending death to me and then wham!... yep!... she was dead lol!... I must admit though... that scene when they grabbed her scared the beejezus outta me lol!...

...I would love to have a pair of those 'magboots' that magnetically lock onto metal surfaces... I'd find a metal ceiling somewhere and would walk along upside down... imagine how much good that it would do for your back problems?... lol!...

..."so how does Space kill you?... I'm glad you asked... the main problem is 'pressure'... there isn't any... so don't hold your breath... or you're lungs will explode... blood vessels rupture... exposed areas swell... fun fact!... the boiling temperature of water is much lower in a vacuum... which means... that your sweat and your saliva will boil... as will the fluid around your eyes... you won't notice any of this because 15 seconds in you will have passed out because Oxygen bubbles have formed in your blood and 90 seconds in... YOU'RE DEAD!"... and this is what is drawn on the chalk board at the end of that statement lol!...

Untitled-1.jpg

...hahaha!... bloody brilliant lol!... I would so love to be in The Doctor's lecture for real lol!... The Doctor is now back in The Tardis with Bill... you can so see that he misses travelling around in Space and Time can't you?... just by the way that Capaldi delivers some certain lines at times...

...I loved the bit where Bill and Nardole are crapping their pants and want to go back lol!... now this is why I like Bill so much more than Clara... Clara was so cocky and full of herself and believed towards the end that she was superior to The Doctor in so many ways... that's why I wasn't overly fussed when Clara died and left... but Bill on the other hand... she reacts EXACTLY how we all would really react like... Bill thinks so much like us 'normal' people and she is so grounded to reality more so than any companion since Donna Noble (my most favourite companion ever) in my opinion at least...

...Nardole and The Doctor argue like a married couple that have been together for 50 years at times lol!... I love the way that Bill got really shitty about that Spacesuit that made that dead guy stay standing after he died... "it's disrespectful!" says Bill... those Space helmets reminded me of the helmets that were in the first ever 'Alien' movie... ha!... how mean that you have to pay for the Oxygen that you breathe!... that's a bad image for big Corporations in the future isn't it?... lol!...

..."you thought that you were safe before!" snaps Nardole at The Doctor... "yes... well I'm bound to be right eventually aren't I?"... replies The Doctor lol!... The Doctor's reaction to losing his Sonic Screwdriver like that was priceless lol!... funny as!... (don't worry... he has about 10 of them in a cup holder back at the Uni)... I just had a thought... is losing his Sonic Screwdriver setting us up for his regeneration sooner rather than later because doesn't the new regenerated Doctor always get a brand new one after he's regenerated?... hmmmmm!... I smell a rat here... maybe Capaldi leaves soon eh?...

...the message from the big Corporation headquarters to all of the Spacesuits was "deactivate the organic component"... that's a really chilling moment for me... how blunt and cold is that?... what a bunch of arseholes to just kill their workers off if they don't perform well enough?... that scene was so subliminally brutal for me... "Capitalism in Space"... well put Doctor... and so appropriate too...

...the background music for the dead crew walking on the outside of the Space Station suited the moment brilliantly for a change instead of spoiling it for once... bwahahahahaha!... that Blue guy calling Bill a 'racist' was so phuckin' phunny for me!... that was a bloody brilliant piece of writing right there folks!... lol!... Nardole's comment pretty soon after was funny as too lol!... "some of my best friends are... Bluish!"... you could feel the awkwardness of the situation lol!...

...that Space Station design was absolutely brilliant CGI work... what an amazingly brilliant design... kudos to the production team for that... did anyone else besides me notice Nardole do this?... lol!... I did!...

nardole.gif

...Matt Lucas is just so brilliant as a companion... he is so damn funny!... this is really great suspense right now with Bill's suit now malfunctioning... I loved the way that they filmed this with Bill seeing what's happening in between blackouts... what a brilliant concept to film it from her point of view eh?... that was so cleverly done... "you know... it's like when your 'SatNav' doesn't know where to go when it's on a new road!" explains Nardole to Bill about the other Spacesuits remaining still lol!... hahaha!... so many great one-liners in the show this time around lol!...

...The Doctor is now blind but I'm sure that if David Tennant's Doctor can grow a new hand in seconds that Capaldi's Doctor will get new eyes by the next episode at least eh?... lol!... when Bill discovered that The Doctor was blind he said "I think that I've got some spare eyes somewhere (back in The Tardis)... they're from a Lizard but I'm sure they'll fit"... bwahahaha!... another corker of a line lol!...

...so Bill dies TWICE in this episode?... wow!... talk about being pulled through the wringer!... and that long shot of her mums photo once again must mean that her mother will be a big part of one or more episodes in the future of the show surely?... Bill HAS to go back in Time and see her mum at one stage or another surely?...

...the crew member states that The Doctor has "locked us out of the sub routine!" and he replies "oh sorry... I thought that I was Tweeting!"... lol!... mind you... he was using a keyboard with his Space gloves on at the time lol!... The Doctor's solution to their problem was just sheer brilliance wasn't it?... how clever!... "they're not your rescuers... they're your replacements!"... yet another chilling revelation on how their Company sees their value to them... didn't Bill look menacing as a 'zombie'?... it's a sad time for that guy that lost his girlfriend or wife wasn't it?... although... he didn't seem too fussed about it did he?...

...back home now at the University I see... oh!... so The Doctor is still blind?... and he says that he will never see again?... as I said... he grew back a new hand so why not new eyes?... whoa!... hasn't Nardole given The Doctor a big serve?... talk about shitty or what?... lol!... you know what?... just a sneaky suspicion here... what if The Doctor regenerates back into Capaldi's Doctor yet again with his 'new eyes' and that Capaldi isn't leaving at all?... hmmmm!... pondering... pondering... pondering...

...I do have to say that I cannot fault this episode this week... it is sheer brilliance at it's best with all things to do with Doctor Who for me... I am so pleased with this episode!... 10/10 from me!...

...hahaha!... next weeks episode looks like a riot!... THE POPE is in it?... bwahahahaha!... he'll be stoked if he watches this won't he?... lol!... whoa!... did anyone else notice this little thing?...

rs-book.gif

...yep!... it's River Song's 'spoilers' book... (if she says either 'hello sweetie' or 'spoilers' I will scream I swear!... lol!... cheers.

...I really do have to admit this... I thought that Whovians was never going to be a good show when the first episode aired and never thought for one second that Rove would do any good as it's show's host either... well?... I'm here to eat humble pie folks... much to my surprise Rove really is great in this show... I've come to 're-like' him so much now because of his genuine love of all things of Doctor Who... I would never have picked it lol!...

...secondly... I can't remember who told me that I would eventually grow to like Adam Richard but yes... you were right... he is so nerdy about the Whoniverse that he has won me over big time too... and what a discovery Tegan Higginbottom is for me!... I absolutely adore this woman so much!... I like her as much as I do with female comediennes like Kitty Flanagan and Jane Kennedy for instance... she has a natural comedic element to her personality...

...but that Bajo? Vago? idiot needs to go... he's the only thing that is spoiling the show as far as I'm concerned... now... on with last night's show...

...Bajo the twonk didn't even know the name of the 'hats' that they wear with Spacesuits until Rove said the word 'helmets'... as I said... the idiot needs to go... Tegan mentioning that the episode gave all mum's a nod for Mothers Day' by killing off a woman that declared that she wanted to become pregnant on the show... lol!... funny as!... Tegan declared last week that she wanted a 'Blue man' in the show and it turns out that she got her wish lol!...

...Rove thought that Capaldi's Doctor was 'blind' because of too much 'Gallifreyan Whisky' being that he's Scottish and all lol!... Tegan then said that she was expecting to see K9 as his seeing eye dog next lol!... bwahahahaha!... Adam's 'spray or Nay' section on his theories is a funny element to the show and did he say that he thinks that Capaldi's Doctor will regenerate into the new Doctor entirely and that's the reason why he cannot regenerate his eyes?... that sounds like a good theory eh?... as I said above... what if Capaldi is actually staying by regenerating back as himself as he is now?... anyhow... as with Adam... it's just a theory on my part... (he never got sprayed lol!)...

...they discuss the teaser for next week and Adam doesn't think that Missy is in the vault now lol!... didn't none of them pick up on River Songs little Blue book?... that surprises me... that little kid Dexter's theory sounded pretty close to one of my theories a few weeks ago didn't it?... I wonder if he reads these Forums?... lol!...

...that 'He Who Knows Who News' section with whoever that guy is is such a lame section at times... they need to either have someone else do it or ditch it altogether in my humble opinion... there's a K9 movie coming up?... SERIOUSLY?... (haha!... I'll say nothing about that because there are K9 fans on here... ;):whistling::biggrin:... lol!)... moving on...

...what a complete waste of airtime it was having that Politician on... what was Rove thinking?... please Rove... never again!... I do like the 'Doctor Who Collectables' section though... especially the fridge with the Dalek on it saying "re-fridge-erate!" lol!... Adam and Roves T-shirts are always great aren't they?...

...Adam seems to think that the photo of Bill's mum is actually Bill herself but older?... hmmmmm!.... (he got squirted for that one lol!... the 'Villain of the week' section is always good... keep that in for sure... Tegan's comment about the 'zombie mum' handing over the air cannister to her husband as if she was handing over the baby that they never had was hilarious!... lol!...

...they all loved The Doctor's response to losing his beloved Sonic Screwdriver didn't they?... lol!... 'The Vault Report' is quite a good segment too but that'll disappear after this week I guess?... I don't particularly like that female guest this week... she hasn't contributed much to the show at all has she?...

...the "auditioning for the new Doctor" section has to go straight away... they are all pissing themselves laughing at it AND IT'S NOT FUNNY!... so now they are showing a 'sneak peak' at next weeks episode... what a let down that was... we've already seen a longer version of it at the end of the current episode and they are trying to pass it off as an 'exclusive clip'?... come on guys... you can do better than that ffs!...

...so Rove's wearing one of Adam's T-shirts from all those years ago?... lol!... wow!... just imagine Adam's wardrobe at home?... lol!... anyhow... overall not a bad show for some of the parts but as for a few downfalls as I stated above... it IS getting better though each week... (get rid of that Bajo twonk though... please?)... cheers.

I think that was me. I'll take credit for it, anyway :p

...but that Bajo? Vago? idiot needs to go... he's the only thing that is spoiling the show as far as I'm concerned...
100% agree

...they discuss the teaser for next week and Adam doesn't think that Missy is in the vault now lol!... didn't none of them pick up on River Songs little Blue book?... that surprises me... that little kid Dexter's theory sounded pretty close to one of my theories a few weeks ago didn't it?... I almost died when I saw the little blue book, surely it isn't River in the vault, and if so, why is she a prisoner?

...that 'He Who Knows Who News' section with whoever that guy is is such a lame section at times... they need to either have someone else do it or ditch it altogether in my humble opinion... there's a K9 movie coming up?... SERIOUSLY?... (haha!... I'll say nothing about that because there are K9 fans on here... ;):whistling::biggrin:... lol!)... moving on...
Total waste of time, and that guy isn't a proper fan, he gets a lot of the pronunciation wrong. In one of the other episodes he couldn't even say "Adric' properly.

I'm a fan of the REAL K9. Have you seen the new design for the "movie"? My god it's shit. I will not be watching, and I gave up after one episode of the K9 tv series too.

...what a complete waste of airtime it was having that Politician on... what was Rove thinking?... please Rove... never again!... I do like the 'Doctor Who Collectables' section though... especially the fridge with the Dalek on it saying "re-fridge-erate!" lol!... Adam and Roves T-shirts are always great aren't they?...
The politician was dreadful, and by far the nerdiest "fan" they've ever had on, including Bajo.

...the "auditioning for the new Doctor" section has to go straight away... they are all pissing themselves laughing at it AND IT'S NOT FUNNY!...
So true.

it IS getting better though each week... (get rid of that Bajo twonk though... please?)... cheers.

...hahaha!... I wasn't sure but yes... you were right as per usual lol!... you do know me quite well don't you?... lol!...and also... was my episode review okay this time Meglos?... it rambled on for quite a bit didn't it?... cheers.

Your review was great, and funny as.. as usual. I love your theory about Capaldi regenerating into himself. Tennant did it, after all. Now if only Peter Capaldi was bluffing about leaving...

Totally brilliant episode tonight. Capaldi and Bill are magical, and it was nice to see Nardole with more to do.

Enjoyable Whovians, but I didn't like the male politician, it was better after he left, the lady politician was more suitable. Bajo is still a bit of a waste of time, but Tegan is fantastic.

I was just glad we didnt get a full episode of George Christensen like we did with Steven Conroy, we don't need any more pollies. He's a big fellow, he made Adam look svelte. Tegan was so trying to trigger him with her Jesus jokes.

Yassmin's on next week, I suppose the commentariat are already drafting their calls for the show to cancelled.

....so Bill dies TWICE in this episode?... wow!... talk about being pulled through the wringer!... and that long shot of her mums photo once again must mean that her mother will be a big part of one or more episodes in the future of the show surely?... Bill HAS to go back in Time and see her mum at one stage or another surely?...

I was wondering at that point, was the Doctor so sure that Bill wouldn't die because he knew if she did, she would regenerate?

...yep!... it's River Song's 'spoilers' book... (if she says either 'hello sweetie' or 'spoilers' I will scream I swear!... lol!... cheers.

But - Who's hand is on it? or - Is Who's hand on it?

The new season it is very brave scenes, the one that disclosed a week ago Squint episode 10 was FANTASTIC..

....hi Sophia Alice... first of all... welcome to the Forums... it's good to see another new person within our midst... and a Doctor Who fan too!... wohoo!... cheers.

What if Capaldi regenerates into the First Doctor?!?!?!? *mind blown*

Okay, someone give me a spray for that one.

...ha!... what a great theory!... the only thing is... I don't think that they'll have another 'old' Doctor again for quite a long time somehow... they don't appeal to the female weeneyboppers that like to swoon over the younger 'prettier' Doctor's I'm afraid oddjob lol!...

I was wondering at that point, was the Doctor so sure that Bill wouldn't die because he knew if she did, she would regenerate?

But - Who's hand is on it? or - Is Who's hand on it?

...perhaps he just knows that Bill will last as long as her 'mums' photo age at least knowing that it's actually Bill as an older version of herself perhaps?... it's hard to tell whether it's a male or female's hand isn't it but I'm guessing that it's definitely River's for sure...

I guess I'm the only one here who likes Bajo.

...um... most probably lol!... cheers.

I like Bajo @oddjob , he is fine, picks up some bits I agree with, like those dumb bugs last week disappointed me too.

And I totally disagree about the pollie this week, it was great watching him squirm for his worlds collide, he loves DW but hates gays - and they friggin stuck it to him, Bill is OK but............you moronic hypocrite was the unrelenting tone...
The panel hated him, and I loved them hating him, and ditching him fast.

Anyone else notice when Bill says I am alive - Doctor says, yes I know you are under that IMPRESSION.

THE VAULT
I hope it isn't any masters, I hope it is exciting, and fresh - maybe INSANE masie
