...and... just to piss us off even more... the 'Masterclass' crap is about to start... this boring shit so early in the show too... they usually do this further into the show from memory... let the yawnfest begin!... cheers.
There must be something else on... somewhere.
...hahaha!... George is using Tomato Paste from a tin and excuses it by saying that this is 'cooking at home week' and that all people have these types of things in their pantries lol!... (nice 'get out of Jail' card there George... you didn't have to make it from scratch) lol!... cheers.

Thanks for the apology Meglos. I enjoy it. Love learning new stuff.STARTING HERE.
I see the latter part of the show will be the return of the masterclass. UGH, I had hoped they'd done away with that, it's so drawn out and boring imo (sorry to anyone who enjoys it).

Next up Matt will show you how to dial a pizza.
...I have to say that I like it when the show is about the contestants and not the hosts the most... this just panders to their egoes when they all 'ooh and aah!' whenever they use an egg whisk or whatever... and they NEVER tell them if what they've just cooked tastes like crud either... they're so lucky that I'm not a contestant I'll tell you!... lol!... cheers.
...hahaha!... I'm looking at that Indian Mina Bird on the wall behind Gary and am so wishing that... erm... oh never mind... I better not say it... moving on... cheers.
...I love cooked whole Beetroot with a meal... yum!... and roasted Garlic cloves too... cheers.
...frozen Beetroot juice/icing sugar and what else did Gary say to make the icecream?... it actually looks great I do have to admit... cheers.
...it sounds tasty too but in all honesty... what else are they going to say to Gary?... lol!... cheers.
...it's really strange... I never really liked Matt Preston in previous series before... for some reason I really do like him now... so much more thn the others... I suppose that he's like a wine... an acquired taste or something... or... I'm beginning to mellow in my later years... lol!... cheers.
...there you go... Matt just said... "I'm not a Chef... I'm just a home cook!"... at least he's not pretending to be something that he isn't... cheers.
...he also tries not to use Oil at all by the looks of it... cheers.
...I have to admit it... I'm really enjoying watching Matt do his cooking segment... he is so enjoying having fun with his cooking... colour me surprised!... lol!... cheers.

I have the easiest beetroot salad recipe ever. Take one can of diced beetroot. Using port wine jelly crystals dissolve in a cup of boiling water and add the beetroot liquid. A splash of vinegar. I also added some chopped spring onion tops for colour. Super easy and portable.

I could imagine making Matts kind of food. Most of George and Gary's I wouldn't bother with.

That's good. I think it's because I'm not a cook, so if there's cooking that isn't in the context of an elimination, I find it really boring to watch. Maybe I'd feel differently if I was going to use the recipes.
