Reepbot, to the best of my knowledge, you are the only person I have had any contact with whatsoEVER who does not despise Trump.

Well I really haven't had anything to do with Inigo (aside from maybe one or two times we have replied to each other or liked the same thing on this forum) and I haven't had anything to do with a significant part of the American population. The only Americans I DO know - about half a dozen? - can't stand him. So.... no, not apart from Inigo or a significant part of the American population!

What on earth do you mean?! Poor Inigo, nothing! I have nothing against Inigo, (well aside from the new information that she apparently likes Donald Trump, but that is fairly recent news to me and I DEFINITELY haven't spoken to her about it) and anyway we have only come across each other rarely, and have absolutely never discussed politics, so .... there is no 'ouch' required, I don't think...

And no, I don't think I will watch it. I do not like the man at all. Or anything that he seems to represent. He makes my skin crawl. And I think too much exposure to him actually makes me feel depressed. I think watching it all be dissected later will be more than enough for me. I just hope he is impeached/removed from office Very Soon. He is a divisive, sexist, unoriginal, greedy, immature bully bigot racist as far as I can see. With pretty much zero self awareness (or even willingness to have self awareness). Or empathy. Or even sympathy. I more-or-less despise the man.

The way you phrased your answer made it seem to me like you saw her as a nobody.

Sorry that you won't be watching it It will be an historic occasion for not only America but the whole world in general. This will be the start of eight years of true greatness.
 
I won't need to get up especially for the Inauguration as I'll be at work, but like a moth to a flame I'll watch it. More for the process involved, less for the incoming person. It will be interesting though to see how he goes with it all and see that odd bullish face he gets when he's meant to taking things seriously. Whether we like it or not, it's history in the making and I for one, like to watch.
