I love how they are banging on about USA having the best produce, food etc. Have they seen what Americans eat? Australia, Asia, Europe have amazing food, spices, produce etc. Not a country that prides itself of supersized deep fried food and cheese in a can.
...hahahahaha!... what a brilliant observation lol!... and so true!... 'talking it up' just because they are going to the USA doesn't make the show better... if the shows are shit then they are shit!... and just why are they going to the USA anyway?... they can't drag up any more nondescript 'never-been-heard-of-pretend-'Chefs' to come onto the show in Australia anymore?... it sounds like it's just a case of Matt/Garry and George just wanting a free holiday at the expense of Channel 10 to me...
...this is an Australian show boys... not an American show just in case you are all confused... are they that desperate for ratings that they have to pull a 'stunt' like this?... it's sad if theyve had to resort to this... after all the show was recorded a few months ago so if they lacked the confidence that the show wouldn't be rating too well at this stage then I'm saddened... I hope that I'm wrong... cheers.

They have gone overseas before. In fact this is the 6th time they have gone overseas from 8 seasons.

Just looked it up. They have already travelled to America in season 3 for New York week.
...oh okay sav0001... fair enough my friend... but I still don't see the need to go overseas to do a cooking contest though... unless of course that it's written in Garry/Matt and George's contracts to scab a free holiday out of the show each season... if they really need to go somewhere... why not the different states of Australia or even outback towns?... that would be way more interesting to me at least... but that's just me I guess... lol!... cheers.
I like your idea of outback towns. They could do good hearty pub food. Parma challenge, pie challenge etc. Nothing de constructed or fancy, just good old Aussie tucker cooked well.
...thanks... why not do it eh?... cook stuff for 'normal' people lol!... glad that you liked the idea... a shame that the producers don't... cheers.
Looking forward to Elise's sphere tonight![]()
...hahaha!... funny!... cheers.
...it's dangerous to be where they are... haven't they seen the 'San Andreas' movie?... cheers.
...I wonder if Matt Preston's chins go all the way down to his belly button?... cheers.
